The Arctic F12 Pro is the latest offering from Arctic Cooling. Being touted as high performance and ultra quiet, we will be taking a closer look at the new 120mm fan.
In the thermal solutions market, the name Noctua is a highly respected one that is synonymous with a very high build quality and great performance. Their product base is fairly limited though with a total of three different heatsinks but when you can produce products such as the NH-U12P and NH-C12P, you don’t exactly need a huge selection.
Today for review I’ve got another Thermaltake product, this one is called the Massive 23 ST, it’s a notebook cooler, and as you can gather by its name it’s big. The Massive ST features a body made of plastic and metal, making it lightweight for portability, but in the center of it is a 200mm cooling fan to make sure your laptop or netbook stays nice and cool. I’ve got the Acer Aspire one D250 and I noticed that after using it for a while it can get quite hot, so I decided to test out the Massive 23 ST with it to see if it can help keep it cool.

A lot has been made of the high TDP’s of Intel’s i7 range of processors, only surpassed by the 140W TDP of AMD’s Phenom II X4 965 BE, requiring more cooling especially when at overclocked settings. Neue CPU-Kühler gibt es ja zur genüge, und jeder Hersteller möchte sich ein Stück vom Kuchen sichern. So ist das auch beim Koreanischen Hersteller CoolAge und deshalb tritt bei uns der CoolAge X120 TF zum Test an. Es handelt sich bei dem Hersteller um eine nicht gerade kleine Firma, die doch schon seit längerer Zeit verschiedene CPU-Kühler für den OEM Markt fertigt. Bei dem von uns nun getesteten Kühler handelt es sich um einen Tower-Kühler, der aktiv betrieben wird. Er verfügt über 6 Heatpipes, die U-Förmig die Temperatur beidseitig an die Kühllamellen abgeben.Der CoolAge Kühler wird mittels eines 120mm Lüfter betrieben.
