The ADATA S511 60GB SSD offers high read/write transfer rates on SATA3, making it a product to consider when deciding to boost the overall system performance. It comes with the Sandforce SF-2281VB1-SDC processor and 25nm NAND flash, ADATA offering for it with 3 years of warranty.

ADATA knows that SandForce-driven SSDs are a win-win combination of performance and speed. In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests the ADATA S511 solid state drive. Based on the popular new SandForce SF-2281 SATA 6GB/s controller and fast IMFT-branded NAND flash components, ADATA claims the AS511S3 is capable of 550 MB/s read and 510 MB/s write speed with 4K random write speeds as high as 60,000 IOPS in real world testing. We test these claims, and compare performance to competing storage solid-state solutions in this review to find out which SSD is best.

It would be fair to say that ADATA aren’t known as one of the more established SSD brands however they have had a range of SandForce powered units in retail for some time now. Today we are testing their 256GB SSD and will be putting it through many synthetic and real world situations.

ADATA is a finished-goods company with deep roots in the enthusiast system memory market. Like nearly every company that sells DRAM-based products, ADATA has gone the way of the SSD. Promising 280/270 MBps read/write speeds with Windows-7 TRIM support, the ADATA S599 Solid State Drive offers 100GB of high-speed storage capacity. Built from the SandForce SF-1200 SSD processor, Benchmark Reviews tests ACHI speeds and performance with the ADATA S599 against some of the fastest storage devices available.

On a number of motherboards that we look at today, we find a feature that to some is a little overlooked and in some cases ignored altogether, namely the mSATA port. mSATA is not a brand new technology in its own right and has been around for a few years now, mainly in the laptop and notebook markets where space is at a premium and the compact build of the drives is well suited.

ADATA’s SP900 from the beginning gave me the impression that it’s mainly aimed at the daily PC user, and in that regard it gives very good performance

The Superior Series C950 USB Flash drive from ADATA has an eye catching look, is provided with some optional useful software and can deliver good read/write performance compared with the other devices tested in the past.
