Just a quick note to pass on that the Crucial M4 SSDs, as reviewed here, have been released to the public as of this morning and can be purchased from Crucial direct by following this link! Of particular interest just might be the pricing as we are seeing great prices for the 64GB, 128GB and 256GB at $129, $299 and $499 mark which seems to be a low for the new gen SATA 3 family.

After our recent review of the 120GB Mercury Extreme Pro 6G, I think you are familiar with Other World Computing. The OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 6G didn't put the company on the map, but it did verify that OWC belongs in the same legend as OCZ, G.Skill, Patriot and the rest of the Team SandForce landmarks.

There have been many Solid State Drives released in the last couple of months, and today we are looking at the new 240GB Vertex 3 from OCZ which is tagged with the ‘Max IOPS’ moniker. This drive has been tuned for users who require greater transactional throughput.

OCZ is one of the leading SSD vendors and they have been producing quite number of SSD products with different types of form factors. Among all these form factors, 2.5" SATA II drive is the most common and popular one since it could be used for desktop, laptop as well as external storage. OCZ Vertex 2 is one of the high performance OCZ's SSDs and let us take a closer look into it.

I started testing the OCZ Technology Agility 3 a couple of weeks ago, but before writing it up took a few weeks to reflect on my findings. While away, I saw one of the greatest finishes ever at the Indy 500 unfold right in front of me and my wife and I welcomed a new addition in our hearts. Even with all of these events going on around me, the Agility 3 was on the back of my mind.

Todays review will take an indepth look at the new Asus Z68 Extreme 4 motherboard. To say we have gone overboard on this review might just be a bit too accurate. In an effort to push this to its limits we have pushed it through some of the toughest tests available, to include 10 separate games for those avid gamers wondering how it would stand up to their use. If you are considering a serious motherboard for your enthusiast activities, ASRock may have finally put together the most complete motherboard available and at an excellent price point!

The storage industry is shifting from 3Gb/s devices to the new 6Gb/s specification which has been a boon to manufacturers as new devices are needed to handle the new, faster devices that 6Gb/s enables. The 3Gb/s specification reigned for roughly five years which allowed user speeds up to 300 MB/s. With the advent of “disruptive” technologies like SSD devices, the limits of 3Gb/s have been pushed back faster than expected.
