Back in October of 2012 we were on an early morning (early for us anyway) conference call at 3pm with Nvidia. The topic was the soon to be released GeForce GTX 650 Ti and while they were going through the specifications one thing stood out to us. This of course was the fact that the 650 Ti was the only graphics card in the Kepler family to be released without supporting Nvidia GPU Boost technology.

We've welcomed the new HD 6800 series with open arms and while the HD 6870 might be the faster of the two cards, the HD 6850 represents some great value for money. When we add a second one into the mix we do see that the overall value does dip slightly, but the performance gains are really strong.
To tie in with Computex 2010 Nvidia is today launching the GTX 465 which brings the same GF100 architecture and features which were present in the GTX 480 and 470 to a new price point, sub $300/£255. Already so impressed with what the MARS II has to offer, we knew what had to be done. Using GPU Tweak, the overclocking software that replaced ASUS SmartDoctor, it was time to see just what kind of overclocking performance could be had from the new MARS II from ASUS. I'm expecting good things from the card to be honest. For starters, the cooler is just massive on the card and we already know it does a fantastic job of cooling the two GTX 580 cores present.
