Today we published a rather special article. We took 64 graphics cards from the last five years, and tested each one with our current graphics benchmarks. It is quite interesting to see how each successive generation of AMD (ATI back then) and Nvidia video cards pushed performance to another level. We started with the ATI Radeon HD 3000 series and the Nvidia GeForce 8000 series, which were the first DirectX 10-compatible video cards. We picked the high-end cards from each generation, and also the mid-range ones. Surprisingly, a lot of these hold up quite well, even in today’s demanding video games. If your PC is still running on an old graphics card, now you can see exactly how much (or how little) you will gain if you buy a newer one.

We talked at length about the NVIDIA-infused Titan supercomputer already, but we haven’t been able to talk about the GPUs that help make the magic happen. In this article, we’re doing just that. We’ll see what the Tesla K-series of “GPU Accelerators” bring to the table and are capable of, and also take a look at where CUDA usage stands today.

Today we shall review as many as five low and mid-end graphics cards: four based on NVIDIA GPUs and one on an AMD Radeon GPU. All five have custom design and coolers, so let's see if this provides any benefits.

Today we take a first look at the new single slot HD7850 graphics card from AFOX. The company claim this is the ‘world’s most powerful single slot graphics card’ and our review will highlight Crossfire performance. If you are building a space restricted media center but don’t want to compromise when gaming, are these the products you should be shortlisting?

Today, we shall review a couple of mid-range video adapters based on the Radeon HD 78xx GPUs. Thanks to their vast potential, these graphics cards perform on par with certain more expensive solutions. Let's take a more detailed look at that.

Today not only are we testing three of the hottest new overclocked 4890 ATI graphics cards but we are building a high performance system with the focus on value for money. We base the system around the powerful, yet extremely affordable Phenom III 965 Black Edition and the very capable Asus Crosshair III Formula motherboard

We are looking at the latest flagship A8-3870K Black Edition today, a minor upgrade to the A8-3850, which we reviewed some time ago. Additionally we also review Sapphire’s HD6450 FleX Edition graphics card, which should make for an ideal, low cost pairing with the 3870K for multiple screen support in a work based environment.
