GCN-Architektur
angenommen 2048 1D Shader-Einheiten
angenommen 128 Textureneinheiten
wahrscheinlich 48 Raster Operation Units
384 Bit DDR Speicherinterface (bis GDDR5)
maximaler Takt: Chip etwas unter 1000 MHz, Speicher angenommen 2500-2750 MHz
maximale Rechenleistung: etwas unter 4 GFlops (SP)
maximale Speicherbandbreite: 240-264 GB/sec

After a recent a review of Gainward GeForce GTX 570 1280MB "Golden Sample" Goes Like Hell we again return to the same brand and even the same GPU. It's just that we've got another interesting product from the company: Gainward GeForce GTX 570 1280MB "Phantom" with a custom cooler. Let's see how it performs.

In this next installment of AMD’s GPU 14 R9 line-up, Benchmark Reviews will be testing the HIS Radeon R9 270X IceQ X² Turbo Boost 2GB video card. As the name suggests, this particular model features the high end IceQ X2 cooler from the HIS labs and much faster Core and Memory speeds. I have seen the evolution of this cooler first hand and I know it to be fully capable. Two 89mm dual axial fans and five 6mm heatpipes ensure that your temperatures will stay well within safe limits.

After taking a look at the Titan X last week it really got me thinking. Currently you can pick up two GTX 980s for the price of one Titan X. That leaves me wondering how well two GTX 980s would perform in SLI compared to the Titan X. Well it just so happens I had two GTX 980’s in use in the office so I put them to the test. Today I’m going to take a quick look at their performance and see if they are a better buy than a single Titan X.

We take a look at the IceQ XTurbo X version of the Radeon HD 7870 from HIS, but is itjust a gimmick?

AMD have been taking all the headlines in the last month, releasing a slew of graphics cards – including the class leading (but noisy) R9 290 and R9 290X. The R9 290X managed to take the performance crown from Nvidia’s GTX 780 and GTX Titan in the ultra high end at both 1600p and Ultra HD 4K resolutions. Nvidia have been hard at work behind the scenes however and today they release their new GTX780 Ti. The big question we need to answer … is it enough to push the formidable R9 290X into second place?
