Recently, we revealed the 40nm desktop GPUs lineup from Nvidia and now we will reveal their 40nm mobile GPUs lineup for this year to give you a better picture. Nvidia naming scheme for mobile side is pretty confusing, let alone the number of re-branding and renaming taking place but we have compiled a nice table to make it easy for you to understand.

Recently we've been reviewing some pretty high end graphics cards, and while it's all well and good checking out the £100 plus fair, the real money is made for the manufacturers in the budget, to mid range cards. So, if you're looking at the current generation of ATI's GPUs, and anything with 4 and 8 at the start of the name is too much for you, perhaps the 4670 from HIS is up your street; let's test it and find out.

Alright. Time for a refresh, it's almost spring, and that's the season for growing video cards. The HD 4890 is, for all intensive porpoises, a retooled HD 4870, which, in my humble opinion, is overdue. Not that the 4870 was by any means a bad card, and it certainly got its deserved amount of press, but it had its failings and, when prices were even, I'd generally recommend a GTX 260. AMD doesn't like losing on the price front, that's for damn sure. But it never hurts to have a great high-end card, either. Look, this card still isn't a match for the ridongulous GTX 285 or the limited 295, but it's an outstanding improvement over the HD 4870. Enough to upgrade?

Inno3D releases an overclocked version of GTX275 with proper price and very good performance. In fact in most cases were somewhat slower than the more expensive GTX285, a perfect solution that won our Safe Buy Award.

Sometimes a video card needs to be just that. A card for video. Many high-end workstation motherboards don’t have integrated video, but what good is a computer without a display? The Intel i7 is just the perfect example. A lot of people have the need for quad cores of number-crunching power, but they’re not gamers and, appropriately, have no desire to own a beautiful set of GTX 50 millions. (But you’ll get there, we’ll see to that.)

"ASUS' EN9400GT is a half-height Geforce 9400GT videocard specifically made for those cramped Home Theatre PC situations that are a pain come upgrade time. It packs in VGA, DVI and most importantly an HDMI output right on board, and best of all, for older PCI Express x16 equipped PCs it does the High Definition video acceleration itself! Ever try to do HD decoding on an older PC? Take our word for it, without an HD accelerator it ain't pretty. ASUS' EN9400GT-1GB is HDCP complaint, meaning it can output both audio and video from Blu-ray discs and other protected sources at full quality, to HDCP compliant displays. "
