La GTX 680 est sortie il y a quelques mois maintenant, avec les forces qu'on lui connait, à savoir puissance intéressante, consommation maitrisée, et le reproche majeur qui lui est formulé, à savoir un tarif élevé pour son segment. Durant les tests, vous pouvez voir que les configurations utilisées sont assez solides, monstrueuses pour la plupart, y compris chez CDH, ceci afin de limiter les performances des perses cartes dans les jeux testés. Certes elles ne coll ent pas forcément à la réalité du parc installé, mais il faut savoir ce que l'on veut faire : tester un GPU ou mettre en avant une limitation CPU. C'est ainsi que nous est venue l'idée amusante de tester la reine des monoGPU avec la GTX 680, et de la placer sur une configuration gamer de 2012, mais aussi sur une configuration gamer de 2006, histoire de voir si elle aurait pu s'exprimer de manière identique il y a 6 ans en arrière !

The GeForce GTX 660 appears to be a great card for gaming on Full HD resolution. Until recently you had to spend £239 to be able to do that, and now it's less than £200. We did notice that with the highest settings, the GTX 660 was at times a little more sluggish than the faster GTX 660 Ti. You could scale down the settings somewhat, or spend a little more and get the GeForce GTX 660 Ti or Radeon HD 7950.
