The ASUS MARS 760 is a unique, dual-GPU graphics card that delivers the performance you expect. The build quality is very nice, you can overclock the card if you want, but the noise level with two GPUs is of course higher than with one. It's clear that the ASUS engineers did their homework, as it's a very solid card overall.

It’s no secret that PC gamers who seek realistic graphics prefer their desktop platform over the 1080p-limited console counterparts. Discrete graphics cards, the hardware added onto motherboards built for high performance, support enthusiast video resolutions as large as 2560×1600. More pixels means more power needed to produce them, so I decided to test some of the most recent graphics cards from NVIDIA and AMD on our massive 30″ monitor. In this article Benchmark Reviews tests frame rate performance for the AMD Radeon R9 290X and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti at their maximum supported resolution.

It has certainly been an interesting couple of months for the high end gaming enthusiast. In October AMD brought out their R9 290 and R9 290X which took the performance crown from Nvidia. We felt both cards were fantastic, but the substandard reference cooler forced us to offer a hesitant recommendation, and we have advised people to wait on the custom cooled solutions. The Nvidia GTX780Ti was then released earlier this month, reclaiming the crown. While AMD partners still scramble to bring improved R9 290/290X models to market, Nvidia are already a leap ahead. Today we review a highly customised, overclocked three fan card from market leader, Palit.

The PowerColor DEVIL R9 270x is an amazing graphics card, it has performance and looks to spare and comes at only a $20 premium over the standard models. What the extra cash gets you though is a graphics card that is extremely fast out-of-the-box, has exceptional cooling, is quiet under load conditions and as we have said multiple times throughout the review it is just dead sexy. In addition, the DEVIL comes with a free gaming mouse pad that is comfortable and accurate – adding to the already great value.

Out of the five AMD Radeon R9 270X we tested, the MSI R9 270X Gaming came out on top. It's the most silent, energy-efficient and, more importantly, the most affordable card. If you enjoy overclocking video cards, the Hawk is a good option.

Zotac is competing with Inno3D for the world's fastest video card. Like the Inno3D card (reviewed here), the GeForce GTX 780 Ti AMP! Edition is clocked at very high frequencies, 1006 MHz for the GPU and 1800 MHz for the memory. Impressive numbers indeed!

The 280X comes overclocked at 1100MHz with a boost clock of 1150MHz. There are 128 texture units in the 280X, and 2048 stream processors. The memory is clocked at 6.4 GHz and the card runs on 250W board power. The Sapphire Toxic 280X is 12.25” long and requires two expansion slots in a case.

The AMD Radeon R9 290X and R9 290 have been getting a ton of attention lately due to a number of reports that the retail cards are performing differently than the press cards that the media sites received. We have been following these stories for the past few weeks and finally decided to look into the situation ourselves.

Gigabyte has made an adaptation of their award-winning Windforce 3X cooling system with the release of the R9 270X card, which features a 50MHz GPU clock increase from the factory for providing playable framerates up to Full HD resolutions while being fairly priced.
