I was intrigued by this card and decided to put it head to head, not with all video cards out there, but against its reference design twin brother. I have been using a GTX 285 since its release and have been a pretty happy camper. But what extras this Asus card has to offer you want to check out!
Looking at the basic spec sheet, you could be forgiven for thinking the Asus EAH4770 FORMULA is the same as every other Radeon HD 4770. Last summer the nVidia GT200 core cards, the GTX 260 and GTX 280, were relatively new and expensive. Now, more than a year later, the GT200 core is still nVidia's top-dog, but the cost of entry to this level of performance has dropped significantly.
