AMD released their HD7970 on December 22nd last year and we followed up with four separate reviews focusing on single card, dual card configurations and modified cards from XFX. Today we are looking at several ASUS cards, and to make it more interesting, we have opted to build a three way Crossfire system. Just what kind of performance can you expect from three of these killer cards in a high end system?

AMD released the Radeon R9 290X video card at $549 that was able to outperform the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 in the majority of benchmarks that we ran. We tested at 1920x1080, 2560x1600 and 5760x1080 resolutions over six game titles and two synthetic benchmarks, but our testing didn't feel complete. Many gamers are starting to wonder about 4K gaming, so we got our hands on the Sharp PN-K321 32" 4K Ultra HD Monitor to bring you some 4K testing. We know that not many people are gaming at 4K and have talked about that before on the site, but we wanted to jump aboard the 4K bandwagon before it becomes popular and the norm. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan is likely the first choice for NVIDIA fans to do some 4K testing. We were going to use that card at first, but other sites have already done that comparison and at over $1,000, it doesn't really match up well on the price front. We opted to go with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780! Read on to see how the GeForce GTX 780 and Radeon R9 290X do when it comes to 4K gaming!

The Nvidia GTX 750 Ti is a great graphics card but the reference design that we reviewed was lacking a little something. I am hoping that today ASUS can bring some improvements to the table with the ASUS GTX 750 Ti OC graphics card we are looking at. With this graphics card ASUS are using their “Direct CU II style design”, however, this is not actually a Direct CU II product. This is because ASUS have not chosen to use any heat pipes at all – that’s right, not heat pipes. We’re hoping that this won’t affect cooling performance too much but we’ll have to wait until the test results before that can be determined. ASUS have added a pair of their fans which they claim provide twice the airflow and a three times reduction in noise over the reference design.

ASUS has already made a name for themselves as the top motherboard manufacturer for quite some time now, but they are really making a name for themselves in the graphics card market as well. Their specialized cards use quality components, come with better cooling than the reference design and even sometimes are overclocked. The card we are looking at today is no different. ASUS’s GeForce GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II TOP comes factory overclocked up to 900MHz, uses ASUS’s own DirectCU II cooler and features a super alloy design on the power components. Let’s take a look at this card and see what it can do!

Gainward puts x2 times the memory at an GTX260 216 graphic card with increased price and not so much gain in performance, at least with 3D Person shooter games.

With AMD launching the 7950 today, XFX have released their Overclocked Black Edition card and we take a first glance at what it has to offer.

With 7950 graphics cards being released into the market, we take a look at what Sapphire have to offer with a dual fan and 100MHz overclock.

HIS Radeon HD 7750 IceQ X Turbo, can be purchased for just 150 USD, and the question is
whether or not this is reflected when talking about performance. However, one would
expect that the HIS Radeon HD 7750 IceQ X Turbo card would be able to handle most 3D
games with a satisfactory result in mid resolutions and with most effect enabled. Let's
get started, and see what we get for the bucks.
