Pour accompagner son architecture Sandy Bridge, Intel a comme à l'accoutumée, lancé des chipsets compagnons : les P67 Express et H67 Express destinés au grand public. Si le premier permet d'accéder aux fonctions d'overclocking avancées des CPU modèles "K", il est par contre incapable d'exploiter le GPU intégré à cette nouvelle architecture à contrario du second. Cependant, ce dernier se voit bridé au niveau des fonctions d'overclocking lui interdisant les changements de coefficients. Lorsque l'on ajoute à ces faits, l'attribution exclusive et plutôt discutable des IGP les plus rapides (HD 3000) aux seuls modèles "K", on se rend bien compte de l'incohérence de cette gamme de chipsets. Intel lance à présent le Z68 Express qui cumule les avantages de ses deux prédécesseurs et apporte quelques petits plus logiciels. Afin de l'éprouver, nous testons ce jour l'Asus P8Z68-V Pro, verdict ?
