The Gigabyte Z77X-UD4H motherboard is a standard ATX form factor with support for second and 3rd generation Intel processors. Like every mITX board I see shown on our news page, when I saw the ASUS F1A75-I Deluxe I instantly said to myself "It must be mine". I say it every time, I love the mITX format, but there's just something about an ASUS version of boards. It just tends to stand out more than its competitors.
Wahnsinn! So könnte man das brandneue ASRock Z87M OC Formula Mainboard für Intel Haswell CPUs wohl im kürzesten Mainboard Review aller Zeiten mit nur einem Wort beschreiben.
Getreu dem Motto nutze den Platz konnten wir nur staunen, was auf so einem kleinen Z87 Micro-ATX 8-Layer PCB Mainboard untergebracht werden kann und vor allem welche genialen Optionen sich ASRock bei dieser LGA1150 Hauptplatine für Übertakter ausgedacht hat.
Overclock Enthusiasten werden spätestens beim Blick in das UEFI Setup Freudentränen in den Augen haben, insofern verwundert es auch nicht, daß ASRock mit dem Z87M OC Formula unseren Overclocking Dream Award 07/2013 locker verdient hat.
Im folgenden ausführlichen Testbericht schauen wir uns das ASRock Z87M OC Formula genauer an und übertakten damit eine Intel Core-i5 4670K CPU.

The Z77 Extreme6 motherboard from ASRock is aimed at the middle range and features a clean PCB, and many features that we have seen at the more expensive variants; the mini-PCIe slot is very welcome (placed underneath the first PCI-Express x16 slot) for installation of an Wi-Fi card or extra SSD. ASRock did also include the well-known Frontal USB 3.0 bay, which is a 2-in-1 device since it can house an extra 2.5’’ HDD or SSD (necessary screws are also provided).
In this overclocking test three AMD 785G Chipset based motherboards are put through a series of tests in combination with a Phenom II X2 545,DFI LANPARTY BI 785G-M35, GIGABYTE GA-MA785GPMT-UD2H and BIOSTAR TA785G3 HD are used to overclock and unlock the X2 to X4 at 3.75Ghz
The ASUS P8Z77I-Deluxe is perhaps the most comprehensive mini-ITX board that we've seen. Features include PCI-Express x16, 2x DDR3, 2x SATA600, 2x SATA300, 2x eSATA, Intel-based Gigabit LAN and a Realtek ALC898 audio codec. The mini-PCIe slot is filled with a combined 802.11n WLAN and Bluetooth adapter. What's different about this board is that ASUS put the CPU power supply on a separate PCB, which made room for eight phases and improves overclockability and energy-efficiency.
Lors de notre dossier consacré à l'architecture Sandy Bridge, nous avions déploré de ne pouvoir tester les performances des IGP intégrés puisque nous n'avions pu nous procurer une carte mère à base de chipset H67, indispensable pour utiliser ce dernier. Ce point à présent réglé, nous avons décidé d'évaluer les performances en jeu des HD 2000 et 3000 sur un panel de 6 jeux DX9/10 et ce en les confrontant à la précédente génération d'IGP Intel, mais aussi face aux HD 4250/4290 intégrés dans les Northbridge 885G/890GX des plateformes AM3 d'AMD. Cerise sur le gâteau, nous avons réussi à nous procurer un E350 qui est la première déclinaison c ommerciale du projet Fusion afin de jauger de son niveau de performance actuel face à l'armada bureautique d'Intel. Verdict ?
