Im April hat AMD die Serie 8 seiner Chipsätze vervollständigt. Neben dem schon älteren 890GX unterziehen wir die Chipsätze 890FX, 880G sowie 870 samt der Southbridge SB850 einem Generalcheck. Darunter die Mainboards Asus Crosshair IV Formula, Sapphire Pure CrossFire 890GX, Foxconn A88GM Deluxe sowie Asus M4A87TD/USB3.

ASRock has redesigned their "old" P55 series to include SATA III and USB 3.0 and this way they made them future proof, at least in terms of connectivity; the performance of the P55 Deluxe3 board is decent and has no problem at all reaching 4GHz with an i5 750 CPU.
