Today we're going to review a top motherboard from ASRock. Actually, company's P55 series isn't very long, and even the second top P55 Extreme is more of a decent mid-end product. But P55 Deluxe is definitely a top solution with both rich features (SLI, 3 graphics slots, dual Gigabit LAN, top-class integrated audio, FireWire, USB/eSATA, etc.) and a nice addition to the bundle -- a SATA 3.0 daughterboard.
Motherboards
Let's take a look on one of the motherboards based on the AMD 890GX chipset released by ASRock, featuring SATA-600 and USB 3.0 ports and three PCI Express x16 slots.

GIGABYTE has put quite a bit of work into its UD7 series of motherboards (and there is a UD9 on the way, too). These boards are their upper-end (the cream of the crop) for their enthusiast offerings. They come with a 24 phase power design, USB 3.0, powered USB, SATA 3.0 and Tri-SLI/Crossfire.

Let’s take a in-depth look on this low-end socket AM2+ motherboard supporting both DDR2 and DDR3 memories that ASRock will be releasing soon.

Mini-ITX motherboards are typically designed for low power consumption and cherished for their compact form factor. So what happens when you replace a low powered system with an Intel H55?

Today I have for review the ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 motherboard, which uses the AMD 880G chipset. An extremely close cousin to the 890GX, the 880G also utilizes the RS880 graphics, with a slightly lower 560MHz core frequency and the same 128Mb DDR3-1333 SidePort memory, giving it an HD4250 rating. Of course the same video features are passed down as well, including CrossFireX support, although the 880G utilizes a 16x/4x slot configuration rather than the 890GX 8x/8x layout. The SB850 Southbridge and NEC 720200F1 chip give the M4A88TD-V the same benefits as the 890GX also, namely SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.0 support.

This particular board comes with support for the latest AMD Phenom II processors including the newest hexa-core cpu's. It also has 4 DDR3 slots and uses the AMD 890FX and SB850 chipset and has integrated supremeFX X-FI HD audio, Gigabit LAN and is a perfect board for the enthusiast.

We now know that the GIGABYTE X58A-UD9 can give us some great performance. However, we have not yet touched on all of the available features of this board. After all, one of the major selling points is that you can drop up to four AMD or NVIDIA graphics cards into this thing and really push the limits of graphics performance.
