ITX motherboards have been around for long time now. The problem is, they’ve been so far behind in technology and with such high price tags it makes them an option not even worth considering. However, with the release of the Intel Atom processor, a series of ITX motherboards using the processor have been released. Some people say these are the new generation of motherboards. Built with onboard processors, graphics and power supplies, you can easily build a low cost energy efficient computer system for around £200-250.
The motherboard we’ll be reviewing today is manufactured by Zotac, a quickly expanding company. It’s built using the Nvidia ION graphics platform which supports even DirectX10. The Intel Atom processor used in this system is the Dual Core based Atom N330. Costing less than £200, these specifications are certainly quite impressive. Let’s see if the Zotac ION A-Series’ performance is as good as its specifications might suggest….

If you have to choose between these two models, it's really easy. Deluxe has a tad better power supply system and a formally better audio codec. But EVO offers eSATA on the rear panel. You have to agree that the boards are very similar. The key difference is TurboV Remote that is not available for EVO.

The board is definitely original, but at the same time practical enough for a home theater. It has a complete set of peripheral interfaces, high-quality integrated audio, up-to-date graphics core, and, finally, a universal remote.
It's been a while since I have last reviewed an Asus motherboard. It's also been a while... actually, I am not going to lie, haha -- I've never reviewed two motherboards consecutively on APH Networks before. Because of my relatively intense workload in my second year of Electrical Engineering, especially compared to what I have done in the past during high school, it is often very challenging to maintain decent academic performance while working with a demanding review schedule.
This motherboard can be recommended to users who upgrade rarely and have no need for the latest innovations. Consider this solution, if, upgrading, you tend to use as many older parts you already have as possible.
