Right now MSI has 14 different motherboard models based on the Intel P55 chipset. Let's take a look at the P55A-GD65 (a.k.a. MS-7585), a stripped-down version of their P55-GD85.
Motherboards
Motherboards
When it comes to the P55 motherboard series MSI's flagship product is the P55-GD85. This motherboard is MSI's first P55 board with SATA 6 Gb/s and USB 3.0 support, which is what consumers are looking for on their next motherboard. With DrMOS, SuperPipe and OC Genie, this motherboard should also overclock very well and we put it to the test!
Motherboards
P55-GD85 (a.k.a. MS-7585) is the most high-end motherboard for socket 1156 processors from MSI, featuring USB 3.0 and SATA-600 ports plus a lot more goodies like points for measuring voltages from components, two Gigabit Ethernet chip and a PLX PCI Express switch chip to make sure your system will keep up its performance even when you try to use all of its features at the same time.

Let's take a look on one of the most overclocking-oriented socket 1156 motherboards from the market, MSI P55-GD80.
Motherboards
The P55-GD65 is one MSI's P55 Express chipset based motherboards that can be used with Intel's newest LGA1156 'Lynnfield' processors and is part of MSI's Gaming series motherboards. The board features Overclocking Genie technology, DrMOS and APS technology, which is still the only OS independent power saver on the market. Read on to see how it does!

Today I will be looking at a brand new product, literally only a week or two from release from one of the best known names in the computer hardware manufacturing business. That manufacturer is MSI or Micro Star International. The product is one of their new motherboards for the new line of I5 Intel CPU’s MSI’s P55 GD65. As it’s from MSI I expect it to be of the highest quality.
Motherboards
While your computer may be used for several things, whether work related or for entertainment purposes; usually the components on the inside were aimed for both options. MSI's new motherboard, the NF980-G65 pushes all other options aside and screams, I was meant for gaming! The NF890 is in every way, a motherboard meant for the gamer enthusiast. Supporting 3-way SLI, the latest AM3 based processors (Phenom II), allowing for an easy overclocking switch and MSI's Active Phase Switching for those who sometimes may feel the need to go green when they are not fragging (or being fragged).
Motherboards
By the specifications of the NF750-G55 it’s easy to conclude that MSI has worked hard to produce something a little extra with this board. The board offers support for SLI, Hybrid SLI and has some interesting proprietary technologies of MSI, like the “Easy OC Switch”. In this review I will not test the SLI functionality since it’s been done before, instead I will focus on the integrated GeForce 8200 chip and see what it can produce in terms of performance
