Wer einen preiswerten PC zusammenstellen möchte, erhält derzeit mit der AMD Sockel FM2 Plattform ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.
ASRock schafft es bei dieser AMD Trinity Hauptplatine sogar noch eins draufzusetzen und bietet für knapp unter 60 EUR ein Micro-ATX Mainboard mit insgesamt drei PCI Express Steckplätzen, einem PCI Steckplatz, fünf SATA3 Ports, einen eSATA3 Port, Gigabit LAN, 7.1 Sound mit optischen Ausgang, USB3.0, USB2.0 und zusätzlich zum optionalen COM Port sogar wieder einen optionalen LPT Port, der beispielsweise für einen HTPC sinnvoll sein kann, um ein kleines 20x4 LCD anzusteuern.
Heute haben wir dieses ASRock FM2A75 Pro4-M Sockel FM2 Mainboard mit dem AMD A10-5800K Prozessor getestet und wie bei OCinside.de üblich bis ans Limit übertaktet.

For good or bad Summer is finally here which would explain why all of our 4 test rigs have begun heating up a lot more during these past few days as would the fact that i can't seem to be able to stay in front of our 800W photo bench for more than 20 minutes at a time. So since we all know how important a good CPU cooler is especially during the Summer period we announced that we will be doing a very cool giveaway with our friends over at Noctua tomorrow with 3 of their latest cooling solutions up for grabs. Because of that however we also feel that you need to know what it is that we will be giving away so for the past 3 days we've been putting the latest NH-U12S and NH-U14S CPU Air Coolers through rigorous testing with impressive results especially for two single fan solutions.

Our first look at a non-Intel Z87 motherboard today is the Z87-G45 Gaming from the folks over at MSI. With a gaming focus I am really excited to see what the board is all about. At a quick glance at both the packaging and the board itself it’s clear that MSI is going with the dragon theme that we saw on a few of their notebooks this year at CES. I’m curious if the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming will be on fire, or just fizzle out. Let’s take a closer look and find out!

Micro-ATX motherboards and all things on the smaller form factor have been a big highlight in the past year or so, with Mini-ITX taking the market by storm and manufacturers somehow managing to cram all of the much needed, and wanted components into this much smaller sized boards. Fast forward to the present day and we see the same thing happening all over again with Z87 and Gigabyte, as they have managed to produce a board based around the new chipset, branded under the G1-Killer branding, much like we saw with the Z77 M3 board which we loved by the way.
For those out there wanting 4-way SLI and a full ATX form factor, Gigabyte have a board just for you; the G1.Sniper 5, but for those wanting a much smaller footprint, they have graced us with the G1.Sniper M5. This particular board is set to pack all of the grunt that its big brother incorporates, without any of the drawbacks, and that can be said for improved audio, overclockability, design and overall key features. Of course it doesn't have the ability for quad SLI, but that's why they have its big brother sharing the limelight to cater for that market.
As we work out way through the large stack of Z87 motherboards that we have here, we wanted to make sure that this board was one of the first, because if it's anything like the Z77 G1.Sniper M3 was, then it's going to be a complete animal and may give you a few shocks on the way, as small doesn't necessarily mean underpowered of lacking features, in fact, quite the opposite.
Before we check out the performance though, we need to make our way through the packaging and accessories before we take a look at the board itself and all of its features including its shiny new BIOS that has been implemented. Once this is out of the way, we can get down to the nitty gritty and see how it performs at stock speeds as well as pushing it as far as we can under our testbed conditions, and then of course to see how it performs once it's been pushed to its limits, so lets not delay and get straight into it.

When it comes to the performance of he GIGABYTE Z87X-OC Force Intel Z87 motherboard, it was right on track with our other Z87 boards. Ultimately though, the GIGABYTE Z87X-OC isn't designed for use at stock speeds. Unsere “Haswell”-Reviewreihe, im Zuge der wir bereits zwei Platinen von ASRock getestet haben, möchten wir heute mit dem Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H fortsetzen.
Wie der Name es verrät basiert das Mainboard auf Intels Z87 Chipsatz. Weitere Ausstattungsmerkmale sind u.a. 8 SATA3 Ports, 10 USB3 Anschlüsse (4 per Frontheader) und 3 PEG Slots. Das interessanteste Merkmal der Platine ist jedoch die Ultra Durable 5 Plus Unterstützung.
