Gigabyte have a large stack of motherboards launching for Z87, and at the top of that stack is the overclocking based motherboards including the Z87X-FORCE and the Z87X-OC which have some fundamental differences. Due to the specific nature of these particular boards we have adapted the review method slightly to go more into the efficiency aspect instead of listing all of the onboard features/chips.

When it comes to the performance of he GIGABYTE Z87X-OC Force Intel Z87 motherboard, it was right on track with our other Z87 boards. Ultimately though, the GIGABYTE Z87X-OC isn't designed for use at stock speeds.
