Memory
When building any system from the ground up, the vast majority of people like me try to keep components to a particular theme and this is why we commonly see red, blue and white components to name but a few. When it comes to styles that match identically, this typically will be found within the confines of the manufacturer themselves, who will style parts to match. Well now is time to break the mould.
Memory
We keep seeing new memory manufacturers come into the market though from time to time, some pop up who have been developed for quite some time, but just need that extra push to get their name out there in the big, bad world.

We left this testing session with the opinion that the triple channel configuration is a definite plus for the consumer and happens to be very logical progression in the ever increasing performance of memory. We also got a glimpse into how far the technology has come when compared to an older DDR2 system.
Memory
For the average consumer the Corsair DDR3-1866 Dominator GTs would be overkill; for the price of this one kit you could purchase 12GB of decent DDR3-1600C7. But those 12GB of DDR3-1600C7 may only overclock to the stock speeds of this Dominator GT kit. This is what you are more or less paying for - the binning process Corsair has undertaken to insure these kits are stable at 1866MHz.

The Corsair Dominator 6GB PC3-12800 DDR3 triple channel memory kit has been specially designed to work with Intel's new Core i7 platform. With a 1600MHz clock frequency and latencies of 8-8-8-24 at 1.65V VDIMM, the TR3X6G1600C8D memory kit is one that will impress your friends and strike fear into those gaming against you. If you are building an Intel X58 Express based system this is a must read.

Dominator means one thing in the world of computers, high end memory from Corsair that is ready to be pushed to the extreme. Legit Reviews has the Corsair CMP4GX3M2C1600C7 memory kit on our Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge test system to see how this 4GB 1600MHz C7 memory kit performs! We also see if this kit can live up to the name Dominator when we try to run it at 2133MHz!
Memory
Today, we at Benchmark Reviews will be presenting our findings for the Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D memory kit which is a 6144 MB kit of 1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM DIMMs based upon Corsair's high performance Dominator family of memory. This kit has been verified to operate at 1600MHz at latencies of 8-8-8-24 at 1.65V VDIMM. These statistics put the TR3X6G1600C8D in the mid-range of DDR3 performance statistically, but as we're all aware a number of memory modules on the market can solidly produce much higher performance figures than their ratings might allude. We plan to use a variety of tests both at stock and overclocked performance speeds to give our readers a solid overview of just what this kit has to offer.
