Memory
Memory
We keep seeing new memory manufacturers come into the market though from time to time, some pop up who have been developed for quite some time, but just need that extra push to get their name out there in the big, bad world.
Memory
When building any system from the ground up, the vast majority of people like me try to keep components to a particular theme and this is why we commonly see red, blue and white components to name but a few. When it comes to styles that match identically, this typically will be found within the confines of the manufacturer themselves, who will style parts to match. Well now is time to break the mould.

It is not often we see a new company enter the market in competitive segment like enthusiast memory, but it seems we have a new player here are they seem to me making a name for themselves. Enter Avexir, and their Core Series memory modules. Over the past few months that is all I’ve been hearing about! Whether it was on Facebook or forums people were raving about this memory! So of course we had to get our hands on some. Avexir was nice enough to send us over a 16GB quad channel kit (AVD3U16000904G-4CI) of their Core Series memory running at 1600 MHz with timings of 9-9-9-24 at 1.5v. Did I mention this memory lights up and looks pretty damn sweet inside your case?! Let’s take a look…

A fairly new name on the market, but we put the Avexir Core Series DDR3 2400MHz 16GB memory kit to the test.
Memory
Featuring a frequency of 3000MHz and timings of 12-14-14-35-2T, Avexir has some of the fastest memory available to purchase in its Core Extreme Series. Featuring high performance, but unobtrusive heatspreaders, Avexir is targeting extreme users and dedicated benchmarkers with its 3,000MHz Core Extreme Series memory kit.

The AVEXIR 32GB C10 kit is rated at 1600MHz, which is not a stellar speed compared to other kits out there, but offers enough storage for many applications that require it like Adobe Premiere Pro, RAMdrives, multiple virtual machines. The modules also come with fancy blue LED effects, which are a delight if the case we are using has windowed side panels.

The AVD3S16001108G-2J is a new upgrade memory kit from AVEXIR for Apple machines, rated CAS11, with the 1600MHz frequency, with a total capacity of 16GB. In this presentation we will compare the performance of the stock Macbook Pro 15'' Unibody 2012 configuration against the upgraded system with the AVEXIR modules.
