Started in 1994 Mushkin Enhanced has been well received for years by enthusiasts for their RAM's overclocking ability and sharp aesthetics. Mushkin has many different lines ranging from their Essentials for budget conscious consumers all the way to their Redline series which utilizes the cream of the crop integrated circuits to get the fastest speed possible with tight timings. The Redline series has been well received by overclockers and so pushing on that success Mushkin has released the Redline Enhanced 1600Mhz 7-8-7-24 kit utilizing their proprietary Ridgeback heat spreader. Benchmark Reviews will be running this kit through its paces to see if it stacks up the competition or if falls short when it really matters.

The Ballistix Sport series might not offer the extreme heatspreaders or speeds that we have grown accustomed to with the Ballistix line but that is just fine. Ease of installation and a broader appeal are the name of the game here and Crucial has a winner.

The latest Ballistix Sport DDR3 1600MHz 12GB CL10 triple channel memory kit may not be suitable for hardcore overclockers and enthusiasts but it's a very good choice for people who are out to get an 12GB triple channel kit with price as the determining factor.

July 1, 2011: Canada turns 144. July 4, 2011: USA turns 235. But what about me? July 3, 2011: That's one year and month anniversary since I have started here at APH Networks. It is also exactly five years and one month ago on this day, that I was given a special present after fully completing karate. What else is special about this day? Another computer here at APH Networks is successfully benchmarked by yours truly. Today, I have been asked to review a blissfully challenging and intriguing product, and this is no other than Gigabyte's high-end desktop gaming motherboard known as the G1.Sniper. "Sniper? Where!?" Incorporating Intel's X58 chipset designed mainly for the first generation Core i7 line of processors, the G1.Sniper is branded under Gigabyte's G1-Killer series, featuring a dedicated high-end X-Fi audio chip from Creative, heatsinks designed to look like the rails seen on rifles, and many other hardware and aesthetically pleasing features. The one we are reviewing today is the "midrange" unit priced about $430 at press time. Before you get too excited, let me briefly inform you that this is a "one shot, one kill" deal. You snooze, you lose; you skip benchmarking results, you miss out on seeing how well this motherboard performs. Or should I really be asking: Are the G1.Sniper's features really worth its $430 price tag? You will have to stay alert to find out!

A short while ago we reviewed the G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB DDR3-2133mhz kit which was retailing for an incredibly low £50 inc vat. Today we are looking at the latest G.Skill 1600mhz RipjawsX bundle which is an 8GB kit retailing for £59.15 inc vat. Is this an ideal upgrade for your new system build? Has G.Skill made any compromises?

We couldn't go long without taking a look at another product from Kingston, and this time we see something with a difference. As users are scoping out for the fastest components available they have another thing in mind as well. They want the most efficient running components that money can buy, without suffering with performance and of course not spending any extra than originally planned.
