APH Networks reviews the HyperX Beast RAM from Kingston. How
beastly is the HyperX beast?

Today we have another set of extreme modules from Kingston in our test system and with the "Beast" model name this 32GB kit had better impress. We will be putting the Beast sticks through a selection of synthetic and real world tests to find out how these 2400MHz modules perform.

Not that long ago Kingston announced a new entry into their HyperX line, Beast. The Beast memory kits are designed for users who want the largest capacity memory available, but still want that performance memory speed and quality. HyperX Beast is part of the Predator line so it is made for both power users and enthusiasts. As I said these kits are for people who want large capacities so the lowest capacity kit available is 16GB. Kingston was nice enough to send us the “big boy” of the line which is the KHX21C11T3FK8/64X kit. This a 64GB (8x8GB) kit running at 2133MHz with timings of 11-12-11 at 1.65v. So let’s get started!

Kingston in the long and short of it are regarded as the biggest memory manufacturer in the world, but we've seen many other brands trying to take a specialist segment of the market; the high end of the scale, though Kingston had always reserved certain products for this market place.

Kingston Technology recently announced HyperX Beast, the latest addition to the HyperX product line. It matches high performance with the largest available capacities and is XMP ready. Legit Reviews will be testing out a HyperX Beast 64GB 2133MHz memory kit on our Intel X79 platform to see if it will work and how the performance numbers look!

Memory prices have been dropping all year and there really has been no better time to pick up a tasty new kit of DDR3. If you are building a new computer, memory is critical in maximising the performance of the system. With this in mind we are looking at 8GB of high performance Kingston HyperX Beast 2,400mhz memory.

Some of the most difficult to answer questions in the enthusiast and high-end gaming PC world have to do with RAM, and more specifically with RAM clock speeds, latency, and timings. What differences do all of these make when it comes to better performance and higher frame rates in games? Typically, the answer is that they do very little when it comes to games. AMD has sought to change that answer with the release of their Richland series APUs, which are designed to take even more advantage of RAM speeds and support up to 2133MHz clock speeds. Intel’s Haswell now supports speeds of up to 1600MHz. Now that more is being done to increase the performance gain from higher RAM speeds, let’s take a look at the results. Here at Benchmark Reviews, we have a couple of new high-speed RAM kits to review. In this article, we will be taking a look at the Kingston HyperX 8GBx2 DDR3-2133 KHX21C11T3K2/16X kit.

The Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB 2133MHz DDR3 memory kit was able to run completely stable with CL10 timings at 2133MHz and 1.6V. For those looking to run at lower clock speeds there is an XMP profile onboard to run at 1600MHz with 9-9-9-27-2 timings at 1.5V, and testing also revealed that it is possible to run this kit at 1866MHz with 9-9-9-24-1 timings at 1.5V.
