In this review we will be looking at a slightly different high performance DDR3 memory kit from Kingston called the HyperX KHX2133C9AD3X2K2/4GX. The name may be long but rest assured this is a 2133Mhz DDR3 memory kit with a CAS rating of 9 designed for the Sandy Bridge platform.

Today HardwareHeaven have Kingstons HyperX DDR3-2400 which give huge potential memory bandwidth. Kingston dont just do extreme speed though, they also produce a very interesting product further down their catalogue. Their LoVo sticks offer some very competitive performance at settings far below the reference 1.65v.

I’ve got a 4gig set of Kingston HyperX DDR3 ram that runs at 1600Mhz and has the low voltage requirements of the Corei5 system. In my time with this set of ram I’ve found that it easily overclocks to almost 2000Mhz and it will even run at a lower latency. I put it in my system with my Corei5 750 CPU and ran a bunch of tests to see just how well it performs, so read on to learn more…

Kingston is no stranger to high performance memory kits. With HyperX kits available for just about any platform you can think of, it is no surprise that with the launch of Intel’s Lynnfield CPU they have released one of their fastest kit to date. Running at 2133MHz, this dual channel DDR3 memory kit is blazing fast out of the box.

Kingston are regarded as one of the biggest manufacturers of memory based products today and aim to cater for all types of systems from the likes of AMD and Intel, whether it be for the low-end market, high-end gamers or enthusiast/overclocking markets. They do it all.

DDR3 was announced quite some time ago especially in graphic card arena but majority of the motherboards are still equipped with DDR2 for couple of reasons such cheaper price and mature technology. Hence today we will still introduce you two DDR2 kits from Kingston; Kingston HyperX KHX6400D2LLK2/4G and KHX8500D2T1K2/4G.

The HyperX name has been around for a while now and we've seen many modules fall into the series. Today, however, we're seeing the biggest change to the series we've seen in a while.

Kingston recently introduced an addition to its HyperX line of memory called ‘HyperX blu’. This memory is meant for entry level gamers and PC enthusiasts, which to menas means it’s more of a ‘value’ line but yet offer the performance you’ve come to expect from HyperX. I can tell you though that the blu performs just as well as the regular style HyperX and just costs a little less. The kit I have for review today is the Kingston HyperX blu 1600Mhz 2×2gb kit that runs at Cas 9 on Intel XMP settings at 1.65v. So I’ve put it up against two other HyperX kits, a standard kit that runs @1600 and the LoVo kit that runs @1866 for comparison. I also did some overclocking of course and this kit hit 2000Mhz very easily, a very respectable and stable overclock. Read on and see for yourself how it performs..

Kingston entered the computer market 25 years ago with a single new type of SIMM. Here we are 25 years later looking at a much more advanced DIMM. Though the DIMM isn't anything new to the market, the Kingston HyperX Blu 16Gb memory kit is the first 16Gb HyperX kit to be offered by Kingston that uses only two DIMMs. The Kingston HyperX KHX1600C10D3B1K2/16G 16Gb memory kit is rated for 1600MHz with CL10 timings. How will the first 2x8Gb memory kit from Kingston perform? Join us as we find out!
