It’s really hard to believe that the SteelSeries Siberia v2’s that we know and love have been out for over four years now. In that time most of you have rebuilt your PC at least once, have played countless game, and even lived through the Harlem Shake and Gangnam Style. So after all of that, I’m not surprised that SteelSeries is finally introducing another Siberia model to sell alongside of the v2. I have been looking forward to seeing what SteelSeries could do with their latest Siberia headset, let’s dive in and see what they are all about and see if they live up to their Elite name.

I did not really watch any movies with these, though I did catch a few episodes of my favorite TV show from NetFlix. I also used the Cooler Master CMStorm Ceres 500 headphones for listening to a bit of music, both through my PC and off my Phone.

We’re back with another 2013 Corsair headset and this time, Legit Reviews gives its attention to the Vengeance 1500 (V2). This is a USB headset aimed at gamers who are unwilling or unable to upgrade to a dedicated sound card, but are interesting in advanced hardware codec features such as Dolby Headphone. Wireless headsets are not a new innovation to the smartphone world, they’ve been around as long as the smartphone itself, but over the years a lot of things have improved as the technology inside these devices matures. Battery life has increased, sound quality has improved, pairing speed has increased and usability is near enough universal. A Bluetooth headset then is no longer an accessory dedicated to just the businessman or woman. It provides access to telephony and media on the move when driving or perhaps cycling, whatever you’re doing you can clip on a headset to your person and know that your smartphone can be put somewhere secure and not get in the way.
Today I’ll be reviewing the Samsung HS3000, a stylish and generously specced stereo headset and exploring what it offers at its asking price of £35.
The packaging is very Samsung, almost all of their modern products come in minimal no nonsense packaging in either a translucent pack or white box. Accessories like headsets are mostly translucent to give you a sneak peek at what the product looks like and gauge its size. It’s a modern look and appealing, sure to catch your attention on a store shelf compared to completely boxed up competitor models. On the reverse the specifications and other information is well laid out, there isn’t a plethora of complex technical details but instead just the right amount to know that what’s inside is going to be good with a breakdown of the core features.

BitFenix are dipping their toes into the world of audio with the release of their all new Flo gaming headset, a premium solution for the PC market that I didn’t even know existed until it landed on my desk! It was a welcome surprise and I was immediately eager to see what it could do. Designed for the PC market the headset is designed to be very flexible in its application, suitable for gaming, work, listening to music, what ever takes your fancy and it plans on doing it without breaking your budget. At just 59.99 Euro it certainly looks like great value for money.
I love headsets, they’re one of the most vital tools in my daily routine, I play a lot of games, I do a lot of work, I use applications like Skype and Mumble, I play guitar and make music from my PC, listen to a lot of music through out the day and so on, so it is important to me to have a well-balanced headset that can do multiple things with minimal fuss. At this price range I’m not expecting the earth of this headset, but it’s coming from one of the coolest brands on the market right now into a market that is already fiercely competitive, so it has to be pretty good just to stand out from the crowd anyway.
“The foundation of any headset is sound quality. Flo brings this in spades with 40mm Neodymium drivers for superbly bright and balanced audio. Precision-tuned acoustic chambers with the closed-back design not only ensure a superior aural experience, but enables excellent noise attenuation for crystal-clear sound – even on-the-go.” – BitFenix
As you can see from the specifications below it’s reasonably well equipped for this price range. Packing decent size neodymium magnet drivers, multiple connection cables, lightweight design, a detachable microphone and a choice of colours.

By the time this review gets online 2014 will have already arrived in several countries so before we continue I’d like to wish a HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone around the world. May 2014 bring prosperity, happiness, health and success to everyone and may we all get along even better than we do now. Now as you all know consumer products are especially popular during the Christmas holidays not only because most manufacturers tend to release many new products just prior in order to tempt consumers in spending their much awaited holiday bonus but also because many retailers do amazing discounts (black Friday anyone?) in order to deplete their stock and consequently show profit (well that's the main reason anyways). Portable wireless speakers are amongst the hottest consumer electronic products currently available but with so many manufacturers competing for the first place it's really hard to decide which model is the right one to cover your needs. Size, battery life, design, audio clarity, bass levels and volume output are obviously the main things one looks for when choosing the right portable speaker but if you want one for outdoor use then you should also pay attention to the quality of the enclosure. TDK is one of the top manufacturers of wireless portable speakers currently and today we will be taking a thorough look at the rugged A33 Wireless Weatherproof Speaker.

I’m sitting here 30,000 feet above ground level, listening to remixes of old songs while tapping away at my computer. While the roar of the engines might not be silenced by the pair of Fanny Wang Earbuds pressed into my ears, nor is the sound blasting through their speakers anything to write about, they are comfortable and I haven’t even thought of removing them for the duration of the flight.
