Today we take our look at one of the biggest names in gaming audio, with the Turtle Beast Ear Force XP Seven Tournament Grade Gaming Headset, which I'm sure you'll agree isn't exactly a snappy product name and it's more descriptive if anything, so we'll just refer to them as the XP's for this review.
I feel a little privileged if I'm honest, this is our first Turtle Beach review here at eTeknix and while I'm personally more than familiar with the products Turtle Beach produce, having used a few of them myself in the past, not to mention selling them when I used to work in retail, I was stunned when I realised I was getting to review their brand new MLG grade gaming headset. Premium grade headsets are few and far between in the gaming world, each year you might see a small handful being released, more often than not they are revisions to a current model.
To my mind, having the MLG logo on your product is a big badge of honour, much like the THX badge is a sign of a well authored movie, Blu-Ray or DVD. For those of you who don't know what the MLG is, it stands for Major League Gaming and its one of the highlights of the eSports scene, that caters to many areas of the pro-gaming scene. Much like any other professional sport, the MLG has rules, regulations and standards that must be adhered and the XP headset must be one of the weapons of choice that meets those standards.
The headset isn't cheap though and with a price tag of a little over £200 I'm expecting nothing short of perfection in terms of features, build quality and of course performance because for that kind of money a consumer deserves nothing less and lets not forget that Turtle Beach have a reputation to protect.
This headset packs a lot of features, so our usual format of features then performance may seem a little mixed as I aim to discuss some performance features throughout the review as we have a lot to cover here.

Packed with features such as customizable presets, an Audio Control Unit, adjustable surround sound angles, Dolby surround and even auxiliary input, Turtle Beach claims these headphones offer “the ultimate in game tournament and lifestyle performance”. These headphones come in at a hefty $279.95 or around £185 pounds inc vat.
So, should you be queuing up for the Ear Force XP Seven?

Having made a name for themselves in pro gaming, Turtle Beach has released a line of Major League Gaming licensed headsets and today we are looking at the Turtle Beach Ear Force PX22 headset. With an included in-line amplifier, multi-platform compatibility and 50 mm drivers, this stereo headset retails for a relatively modest asking price of £64.97 inc vat.
So, can the Ear Force PX22 hit the sweet spot for gamers who want to keep their costs down?

Today on our test bench we have a product from Turtle Beach, the Ear Force i60. A Bluetooth wireless headset the Ear Force i60 is aimed very squarely at the Apple market being compatible with iPhones, iPads and the Mac range. It is also compatible with PCs of course and will also work with other brands of handset... and even airplane entertainment systems.

Today we have something very special in the eTeknix office, the much anticipated and hyped Level 10 M headset from TteSports. This is special headset in many ways, not only because it is one of the flapship models for TteSports, but that it was also designed as part of Thermaltakes collaboration with BMW DesignworksUSA. Those of you who keep an eye on this sort of thing will know that this isn’t the first BMW / Thermaltake product to hit the market, the first being the Level 10M Mouse last year.
TteSports are at the top of their game right now, their gaming peripherals are winning awards around the world and they’ve won a nice handful of them from us here at eTeknix for their great performance and competitive pricing. They’re still busy supporting eSports and LAN gaming and their own gaming teams are doing well too. Exclusive products such as the Level 10M range are just another feather in their cap.
“The Level 10 M gaming headset is the next iteration of the Thermaltake collaboration with BMW DesignworksUSA, maintaining the tradition of iconic design found in the products before it. Employing elements of open spaced architecture and geometric modularity, the Level 10 M headset is a beautiful merger of form and function: designed to meet the stringent demands gamers’ have in a headset, without looking out of place for everyday use. The headset comes with a set of PC gaming cables as well as mobile headset cable.” – TteSports
The headset its self packs some nice specifications, the model we are looking at today is the Diamond Black edition, although it is also available in white. Connectivity is provided by 3.5mm and USB, which can go to both mobile or PC. 40mm drivers, 3.0 meter cable, in-line controller and noise cancelling technology to name but a few. So enough of the specifications, lets take a closer look at what the Level 10M has to offer.

Today we take a look at the latest product from TteSports, the Console One headset which is effectively a multi-format edition of their popular Shock One gaming headset for PC. Console gaming is big business and it is understandable that the company would want to get a bigger share of this market given their dedicated support for all things pro gaming and eSports related.
Priced at a little under £50 the Console One is a budget friendly solution, especially for a multi format headset which often start around £70 for something featuring a well-known brand name, so it will be interesting to see just what TteSports have to offer for this kind of money. TteSports have proven themselves time and time again to us here at eTeknix, not necessarily for their performance, but for their value for money and while they do make some incredible premium products, their special power seems to be offering consumers some of the best budget friendly solutions in the industry, especially when it comes to gaming mice and that is something I am hoping to see here today with their headset.
With support for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the Console One is great for those who own multiple gaming devices and it is not ideal for someone to buy three different headsets, especially if they’re on a tighter budget. So lets take a look at what TteSports have to offer and put the Console One to the test.

Today we’ll be looking at the TT ESPORTS Theron – the company’s high to mid-range gaming mouse, designed with input from Taiwanese StarCraft II pro-gamer Softball. Softball hasn’t impressed in international competition thus far, but we’ll see if his mouse is more worthy of praise.

Today I look at the Tt eSports Shock One headset. Compared to the previous Tt eSports headphones I took a look at, these are much more gamer orientated. They also feature virtual surround sound which should make them great for watching movies too. Let’s find out!

Today we'll be taking a look at the value orientated SHOCK gaming headset a model which is available in a number of different colours, from Blasting Red and Dynamite Orange to Sunfire Yellow and Military Green. The model we will be looking at is the Marina Blue version; hopefully it delivers same high level of performance we have come to expect from other Tt eSPORTS products.
