Tesoro are not the biggest name in the peripheral business, but they’ve already earned themselves some impressive awards, not to mention captured many people’s imagination with their unique and modern designs. While Tesoro have always had cool designs for their products, they wouldn’t be where they are today if they didn’t also back that up with great performance, and we hope to find plenty of it in the Tesoro Kuven gaming headset we’re taking a look at today.
Priced at around $69.99 / €69.99 the Kuven should be competing with firm favourites from Cooler Master, TteSports and Steelseries, to name but a few. All of whom have a competitive product in this price range and we’ll be looking for performance that at least matches the competition in this price range, as well as that one stand-out feature that would tempt us into making a purchase.
Promising stereo sound with the addition of virtual 7.1 surround thanks to its built-in USB sound card, the Kuven sounds like a tempting purchase. Tesoro offer the headset in a Devil and an Angel edition, which is effectively just a black one and a while one, we have the Angel (white) edition in for review today.
As you can see from the specification below, we have large drivers, detachable ear cups, long braided cables, an in-line controller and part aluminium construction.

As many of you know i don't believe that the best way to play games on the PC is with a headset placed over your head (LAN events excluded of course) because for once the positioning audio quality can't really be on par with that of a complete 5.1/7.1 surround system while both the weight and pressure of the headset can get really annoying in a rather short period of time. I do however admit that a headset is the lesser of two evils so if you have to choose between disturbing those around you and using a headset then the answer is quite obvious. That being said from time to time we do receive some headsets that we can't really put in the same general category as most of them because of numerous reasons including more or less excellent build quality, superior positioning audio (and quality) and impressive comfort levels. Well for the past week we've been testing the latest Level 10 M Gaming Headset by Tt eSPORTS which can easily cover all three previously mentioned bases for us to separate it from the masses.

Today we are taking a look at Noontec’s Hammo Fashion Hi-Fi Headphones. Aimed at music enthusiasts with a penchant for style, these on-ear headphones boast 50 mm drivers, a detachable audio cable and ship with a protective case. The big question we aim to answer today … can Noontec convince the discerning audiophile to pay the £99.99 asking price?

It’s been over three years since Thermaltake surprised computer enthusiast circles with the Level 10 full-tower ATX case. It was both elaborate and absurd in its features and design, costing a not so modest $700 then. That case has since been succeeded by a series of more reasonably priced Level 10 cases that maintained the original’s distinctive appearance as much as possible. More recently, Thermaltake has introduced computer gaming peripherals under the Level 10 premium name, first with the Level 10 M mouse last year and now with the Level 10 M gaming headset...

The Level 10 M Gaming Headset is the next entry in the Thermaltake's Level 10 project. The Level 10 M Headset targets eSports competitors with design quality and styling which continue in the tradition of the Level 10 GT case and mouse. Soft padding and lightweight aluminum construction make it durable without compromising the comfort. Sound is carried over a 3 meter cord with inline volume and microphone controls to a pair of 40mm neodymium drivers to deliver excellent quality. The microphone even has noise canceling built in to ensure crisp, clear communication with your teammates. Priced at $99.99, the Level 10 M Gaming Headset delivers a lot of quality for a reasonable price.

Up for review today I have the TouchTone Bluetooth speaker from Id America which features touch sensitive controls, hence the word touch in the name. The TouchTone is wireless over Bluetooth but it also has a line-in that uses a standard audio connector so you can even use it with non Bluetooth devices. The TouchTone can put out of total of four watts from the two speakers and that might not sound like much, but it is, this thing can get very loud but yet there’s very minimal distortion. Anyway, read on to learn more…
