Built in computer speakers especially in Apple products tend to sound weak and lack punch. Today’s review item is designed to address this issue while adding some style as well. Palo Alto Audio Design created the Cubik speaker system to provide hi-fi audio to your MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Mini or Mac Pro machines. These speakers can also be used with PCs but Palo Alto seems to be primarily targeting the Apple market.

Les grandes suivent aussi le chemin de l’augmentation, en taille comme en prix. Ici, nous parlons d’un kit 2.1 vendu 499 euros. Cela reste une somme, mais pour l’amateur de Hi-Fi, il est presque possible maintenant de se faire un excellent système sans passer par la case classique. La musique gérée par PC commence franchement à acquérir ses lettres de noblesse. Reste à savoir si ce Focal XS vaut l’investissement.

Pour ceux qui ne sauraient pas, il est question ici d'un petit kit 2.1 présentant la particularité de passer par une amplification externe. Dans la gamme de prix, autour de la centaine, voire un peu moins en raison des nombreuses promo de fin de vie, il était tout à fait recommandable. Edifier nous a fait parvenir la nouvelle version, simplement nommée C2XD. Je pourrai vous donner une explication totalement farfelue mais logique en rapport avec mon nom de famille et mon prénom, genre hommage et tout et tout... Il sera tout simplement préférable de dire que nous n'en savons rien, en tous les cas, il est XD maintenant.

Alienvibes W601 2.2 speakers from ineo technologies absolutely adhere to audiophile starting points on how to build a good speaker set. Right off the bat, the Alienvibes W601 features all wooden enclosures with piano black plastic trim, satellites with 2 x 3” midrange and 1” tweeter, plus a pair of 5.25” drivers in a vented enclosure handling the lows. The amp built into the sub enclosure pumps out 15w RMS x 2 to the satellites and 50w RMS mono to the subs with an active crossover. The face of the sub enclosure has an easy to use interface for vol/bass/treble/input/mute as well as USB and SD card inputs. Simply insert a USB or SD card with music files and the W601 can play them back with full control plus an EQ with eight factory tuned presets.
