When we reviewed the Philips Fidelio DS3020 back in July, we were very impressed with how clear and crisp the sound quality was, as well as the dynamic bass boost and overall design. Today we have Philips Fidelio DS7700, which offers a much larger speaker due to it being compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and now iPad, but will the performance match up with the DS3020? Ce fabricant s’est donné une spécialisation dans le son. Il propose donc autant des enceintes Hifi classiques, des systèmes Home cinéma complets que des enceintes pour nos chères machines préférées. De plus, cette marque semble relativement dynamique et a clairement des velléités de diffusion plus large. De fait, si vous nous suivez régulièrement, vous savez donc que nous avons reçu de leur part un kit enceintes et un casque. Dans le test qui nous intéresse aujourd’hui, nous vous parlerons du casque, le nommé Aureol Massive. Allez, parce que nous sommes moqueurs à la Ferme, il n’est pas si massif que ça le Massive. Il est finalement à l’image de son prix, vous le verrez, cela semble être une des caractéristiques de la marque, pas si important que cela.

All things considered, we were pretty impressed by the MDR-1RNC. Generally speaking, the headphones sounds excellent, even if they’re not the best we've ever heard. The lows are a little too weak, and this will be noticeable to those that enjoy bass-heavy music. For the majority of genres these headphones will be great, however, and that's supplemented by the extremely effective noise cancellation. The latter does affect the sound signature, but it's something you can live with. If you frequently travel in noisy environments, you will definitely appreciate the silence created by the 1RNC.

Now the company releases the Cross-Platform model, a headset that is compatible across the board with PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. It's a wise choice for the user who plays on the PC and on one of those next-generation consoles (or perhaps on both of them.) The Siberia V2 Cross-Platform is a big headset with closed ear headphones and 50 mm drivers, but at the same time is surprisingly lightweight and features a retractable microphone.
