Currently in the market there are countless headset models available from a large number of manufacturers and in several different configurations from plain stereo ones and virtual surround ones (again based on dual drivers) all the way up to real 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound ones that feature up to 8 drivers (4 in each earcup) for the best possible positioning audio both in movies and games. Of course much like most things (especially electronic devices) each model type has a different focus group/audience and so although stereo ones are extremely popular amongst audiophiles, DJ's and professionals in general virtual and real surround sound ones are mostly welcomed by casual and hardcore gamers around the world. However there are also stereo gaming headsets our there for people who belong to neither one of the mentioned groups and just want a cost-effective headset to casually play games and listen to music a job which just might be the right one for the ONDA ST stereo gaming headset by OZONE.

The Ozone Oxygen Headset is a unique product in that they're in-ear. Most other pro gaming headsets are the traditional kind, which are much bulkier. So these are perfect for LAN parties or if you need something compact. Considering their size these offer excellent sound and a quality mic. Also, the overall build quality and design is excellent.

Just like everyone else out there over the course of my life there have been quite a few occasions when I’ve been out looking to get a set of earphones but had to compromise either in terms of quality or clarity due to a limited budget. For good or bad i am a strong believer that almost always you get what you pay for (obviously excluding the times you pay way too much for a brand name) and that's especially on the spot when we are talking about audio and video related devices such as headsets, graphics cards, LCD screens and more. However there have been a few very rare occasions when I’ve come across cost-effective products that manage to go head to head with others that are many times more expensive and promise everything you’d ever want. This is exactly what happened with the brand new Oxygen In-Ear ProGaming Headset by OZONE which has been keeping us company for nearly two weeks now.

In recent years we've seen the launch of several new brands in the PC gaming peripheral market. Created by and for gamers, Ozone Gaming is a Spanish brand that introduced its first products in 2010. The company offers gaming mice, headsets, keyboards, mousepads and other accessories.

Built in computer speakers especially in Apple products tend to sound weak and lack punch. Today’s review item is designed to address this issue while adding some style as well. Palo Alto Audio Design created the Cubik speaker system to provide hi-fi audio to your MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Mini or Mac Pro machines. These speakers can also be used with PCs but Palo Alto seems to be primarily targeting the Apple market.

In this HD world we live in, having the latest and greatest display in which to fully enjoy this media has become the norm. With every release of a new device, it seems the display is the biggest improvement, with higher resolutions and more pixels per inch being the specs that consumers cling to when deciding one versus another. With such an emphasis on visuals, we can’t afford to overlook the need for high quality speakers to fully enjoy the experience. There are numerous choices out there, and most are X.1 setups. This is generally some number (i.e. X) of satellite speakers and a subwoofer (aka .1). The traditional 2.0 (no separate subwoofer) market has historically been saturated with “cheap” speakers…unfortunately that hasn’t changed much with the emphasis on X.1 setups. So can a 2.0 speaker system cut it in today’s market where so much emphasis is being placed on getting the most out of the HD media and high quality audio that is so readily available these days? Palo Alto seems to think so, and with their Cubik speakers they are here to try and dispel multiple myths. Essentially, bigger isn’t always better, and more speakers does not mean better sound.
