Although the trend of our times demands from pretty much every electronic device to be connected wirelessly to others i doubt we will see the end of wires any time soon since as we all know they do allow data (regardless of type) to be transferred better and faster. This is even more important to audiophiles since audio streaming using both Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi connections is indeed inferior to that of regular wired connections and thus i don't think the day when they will choose to replace that is near. Needless to say the same applies for earphones but with the current number of available models in the market from low and up to enthusiast grade ones choosing the right one for you is not an easy task even if you know what you want. Naturally high and enthusiast level audio products always tend to cost many times more than low/mid-end ones but fortunately Nuforce with their latest NE-700M earset aims to change that for the best.

Now although Jabra recently released the quite remarkable REVO wireless Bluetooth headset the market is not really filled with such solutions, at least not powerful enough solutions for people who really want to listen to their tunes without volume restrictions. The Oblanc UFO headset is a 5.1 surround sound gaming headset and is available in multiple colors. Anyone looking for an immersive experience will appreciate that the Oblanc UFO provides a private 5.1 sound system while gaming or watching movies through a PC. The UFO connects to the PC using a USB port and has its own sound card built in, so there is no need for the computer to have a sound card. The speaker system itself consists of eight (four in each ear cup) 30mm Neodymium drivers with independent volume controls for each channel. The headset has an adjustable boom microphone with a switch for muting on the controls.

Der SHP-900 von Omnitronic ist ein geschlossener Studio-Kopfhörer, dem leider zu Unrecht kaum Beachtung geschenkt wird. Grund dafür ist vermutlich zum einen der unbekannte Hersteller, und zum anderen der Preis von nicht mal 40€, der nur minderwertige Qualität vermuten lässt. Geliefert wird er in einem mit Stoff ausgekleideten Karton, in dem sich neben dem Kopfhörer eine Stofftasche und ein Adapter von 3,5mm auf 6,3mm Klinke befindet.

With summer just around the corner how many of you will storm online and retail stores alike to find a suitable portable wireless speaker for use when at the beach (or at the pool) so you can listen to all your favorite tunes from your smartphones? Personally i use wireless portable speakers a lot when I’m at the beach in the summer especially if there are many friends around so i really do think that such devices can be quite useful as long as you can find the right one to cover your needs. So currently in the market we have the usual Bluetooth enabled wireless speakers that require to be paired with a smartphone or tablet and NFA (Near Field Audio) wireless speakers that just require for the smartphone to be placed right next to the NFA sensor (the sensor location is always listed in the user’s manual). Now obviously each type has its advantages and disadvantages but it's worth mentioning that both also offer wired 3.5mm mini plug connections (most models) which can be used by people who don't want to use the extra battery required by Bluetooth connections or people who prefer the more classic way. One such device is with us today and more specifically the Boombero NFA Wireless Speaker by Oregon Scientific.
