Today I'll be taking a look at a mid-price range 2.1 speaker system from Wavemaster, a popular German audio company that seems to have big ambitions for the rest of Europe, including the UK. Priced at around €69 they're certainly priced well enough to attract a lot of general consumers. This is something that has caught the attention of the German markets where they are proving a popular choice on Amazon.de and today we hope to find out why they're proving so popular.
Sony can pride itself on being the inventor of portable audio devices, and it's still active in this segment. The NWZ-W273 is a Walkman designed for active people, and we tested it for a period while jogging. Not to get too much ahead of ourselves, but we're quite positive about Sony's latest compact and waterproof music player.
Whenever we hear the term Bluetooth wireless headsets the first thing that naturally comes to mind are the typical around the ear models we use with smartphones for hands free calls like the Voyager Legend by Plantronics or the MOTION by Jabra. However lately many people turn towards another less popular type which basically consists from two parts, a set of earphones and a Bluetooth receiver/transmitter. The overall size of the unit may not be as "portable" as the usual Bluetooth wireless headsets but it has three positives that we can't simply ignore. So first of all it offers stereo sound which means that not only can you answer/make calls and listen to the other person from both ears but you can also listen to music a lot better than with a single monophonic headset. The other plus is that since the Bluetooth receiver/transmitter is placed on the far end you can place it far away from your head and although so far there are no indications that Bluetooth connectivity can affect us in any way still this makes people feel safer and i can understand the why. Finally since the earphones have very little weight it can be used by people while jogging or exercising without falling off (or at least not as much). Antec mobile products chose to go with this solution and so today we will be taking a look at their ISO Noise-Canceling Bluetooth Headphones.
As most of you know now (if not all) while typing these lines CeBIT the largest electronics & PC hardware related exhibition in the EU is taking place in Hanover, Germany with countless products showcased by pretty much every manufacturer on the face of the planet. Unfortunately however that left us with two choices, either go there ourselves to cover everything happening at CeBIT up close and personal (not really that far compared to CES so it would be a lot easier to do so) or remain here, post news from CeBIT and at the same time continue our testing to keep our schedule. Nous le répétons, nous sommes dans une période de doute.

To get the most out of the CrossFade M-100 Headphones you will be wise to also invest in a headphone amplifier. The sound output from today’s smartphones might be enough to crap out your average best buy $10 headphones, but it just isn’t enough to get a truly satisfactory experience on a higher quality set of headphones let alone the CrossFade M100′s. A lot of attention has quite rightly been given to sound quality and performance with equal attention also given to build quality and style.
