Thermaltake are one of the biggest names in the PC market, not only are they well known for their PC chassis design, power supplies and other components, but they also spawned another company known to many at TteSports who have gained a great reputation in recent years for some of the best gaming peripherals on the market, but lesser known here in the UK is there other brand, Luxa2, who make mobile friendly products and audio solutions and I’ve been waiting patiently for quite some time to get hold of a pair to see what they have to offer.

When it comes to mobile products, appearance is vital and many people care just as much about how they look while wearing headphones as they do about their headphones sound, which is in my opinion a silly way of doing as I’ll always pick audio quality over style, but that’s just me.

Today we are taking a look at the LUXA2 Groovy Wireless Stereo Speaker. As a division of Thermaltake, LUXA2′s goal is to deliver aesthetically pleasing hardware without compromising on performance. So, is the LUXA2 Groovy Wireless Stereo Speaker the ultimate mobile audio companion?
LUXA2 has slowly been growing on customers as they have been coming out with some really great mobile products and accessories. Today we have one of their latest products, the Lavi-S, which is a Bluetooth headset that not only sounds great but has a feature you just will not find on other headsets. First off the headset features 40 mm drivers that will give you a balanced range of bass, midrange and treble tones. The really interesting thing about this headset is that it has three different play modes. So you have Bluetooth and wired (aux in) playback, which is typical on most Bluetooth headsets, but with the Lavi-S you also have external speakers on the earcups. This allows you to share the music you are listening to with your friends and the people around you. Will this 2-in-1 device replace the need for a separate Bluetooth headset and speaker? Read on as we find out.

Le troisième, testé aujourd’hui, joue une carte moins basé sur la puissance que sur le design. En effet, il est bien moins puissant que le C2+ qui reste pourtant raisonnable à ce niveau. En revanche, il est bien plus looké. Le M3200, de son petit nom, se prête donc au jeu du test, d’autant qu’une opération Edifier va voir le jour. Si vous comptez acheter un kit son, ce sera peut-être l’occasion de choper une (licence de jeu vidéo). Reste à savoir si ce M3200 vaut le coup.
Mad Catz is continuing to broaden their Cyborg hardware line-up and up next is the Cyborg FREQ 5 stereo gaming headset. It supports both PC and devices so it's not just your stay-at-home gaming headset. It includes both a USB and 3.5mm analog connection. Naturally the USB connection unlocks additional microphone/audio adjustment capabilities. The Mad Catz FREQ 5 comes with 50 drivers for deep bass and crisp highs. It is the younger brother of Mad Catz's FREQ 7, which delivers surround sound at a slightly higher price range. February 2013 was supposed to be a very important month for me and the rest of the staff since during this month not one but two very special game titles were scheduled for release, first the Dragonborn DLC add-on for The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim and the long awaited Aliens Colonial Marines which as the title suggests was made after one of the best sci-fi/thriller movies of all time, Aliens. Unfortunately although the Dragonborn DLC proved to be worthy of our enthusiasm i can't really say the same about Aliens Colonial Marines since after having played with it for almost 6 hours straight it left us with a bitter taste (mostly due to gameplay and graphics). Had Sega released the game 3 years ago there's a good chance that we would all be astonished by it and sucked into the storyline, however this is 2013 and releasing a game with 2010 graphics is simply not the way to go, especially when you are releasing a sci-fi game with plenty of visual effects (although we did enjoy the Weyland-Yutani Corporation twist). Still both the Dragonborn DLC and the Aliens Colonial Marines came at just the right moment in time since almost 10 days ago we started testing of the latest F.R.E.Q.5 Red stereo headset by Mad Catz.
As most of you know now (if not all) while typing these lines CeBIT the largest electronics & PC hardware related exhibition in the EU is taking place in Hanover, Germany with countless products showcased by pretty much every manufacturer on the face of the planet. Today I have something a little more fun in the office, the MadCatz F.R.E.Q.5 Red Edition. We've already taken a look at the F.R.E.Q.5 headset before, which you can check out here. Fundamentally this is still the same headset and not a lot has changed with the headset itself, but let's see if we can improve on the first F.R.E.Q.5 review anyway.
