Today I'll be taking a look at the Tritton Kunai Wii U Gaming Headset, or first and hopefully not last peripheral review for Nintendo's shiny new games console. It's been a long while since we saw some new hardware in the gaming market and its a perfect time to bring out a new range of gaming peripherals, something that MadCatz and Tritton are taking a lead with as they extend their successful Xbox and Playstation products over to the new system.
This headset isn't new to eTeknix though, it was only a short while ago that I got to review this headset for the PlayStation 3 and Vita. While I expect performance to be at least similar to that edition, there are of course minor differences at play here. The Wii U will have its own sound processing capabilities, as too will its games, the connections are different also. While this may not sound like much that would make a difference, it doesn't take much to make or break quality audio performance.
Tritton have a rock solid name for them selves within the gaming community at the moment, they've worked hard to earn it too. Not only do they have one of the more robust product ranges for gaming peripherals, but they also work closely with many gaming events and pro gaming teams, applying what they learn from these groups to their products. So lets take a closer look at the Kunai (again) and see just how well it handles Nintendo's latest console.

As we have seen quite often in recent times well known manufacturers have seen moving into new areas as a wise move in this economic climate. Antec's approach to this has been the creation of a mobile brand which includes chargers and audio devices. One such device is the a.m.p. SP1, a compact Bluetooth speaker and speakerphone and it is the focus of our review today.

It seems that lately no matter where i go when I’m out (subway, road, gym) i see quite a few people listening to music with large wired headsets connected to their smartphones so i can't help but to wonder just how comfortable they feel. Personally up to this day i only used wired and wireless stereo earphones/earsets when i wanted to listen to music while on the go without becoming annoying to people around me and i can't say that i ever felt like wanting something more. True volume and bass levels always were two very important issues i wish could be resolved but when using earphones it's quite obvious that you put portability over audio perfection. Well it seems that our friends over at Jabra have been working on the two issues i mentioned since they just released what is perhaps the best wireless headset I’ve used to date, the REVO Wireless.

Razer is a well known manufacturer of Gaming Equipment. Razer has a wide range of gamer Keyboards and Mouse in their product range, and with good reason. The product we will review here is not a Keyboard or a Mouse. It is the new Razer Ferox Speakers.

I've had something a little different to play around with this week and as much as I love sitting indoors and playing with new gadgets, it's always great when you get something that allow your to break away from your desk and get out into the sun.

QPAD, as its name implies, is traditionally a mouse mat manufacturer. These days though, you can’t be a one trick pony – you need to diversify; and that’s what QPAD is doing, branding itself out into the headset game. This latest offering, the QPAD QH-90, features a stark white colour scheme, super soft padded leather cushioning and a detachable microphone. Will the audio quality back up these features and will it be worth the price tag? That’s what we’re here to find out.
