The new Flux Luxury Edition Gaming Headset from SteelSeries was built for mobility in mind, comes with two separate connectivity cables, a carry pouch and interchangeable covers. The Flux is easy to adjust thanks to the FluidFIT headband and produces a high quality sound even in movies or games, even if it is marketed mainly for gaming purposes.

Wired portable media speakers have been around for quite a long time (mostly small stereo ones) but it wasn't until smartphones made their debut around a decade ago that manufacturers focused on the design and manufacture of wireless ones via Bluetooth connectivity. Fast forward a decade and right now the market is literally filled with countless Bluetooth compatible portable speakers of virtually every size possible which not only can be used to significantly boost the audio levels of your smartphone but can also double as speakerphones. To date only two such devices have really peaked our interest, the quite powerful and unique looking SOLEMATE Bluetooth Portable Speaker by Jabra and the extremely easy to use Boost Plus Near Field Audio Amplifying Speaker (needs no wires and Bluetooth to work) by iFrogz. Recently however Antec launched their Antec Mobile Products division (a.m.p) through which they aim to dominate that market with their latest SP1 Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker & Speakerphone which we have here today.

As we have seen quite often in recent times well known manufacturers have seen moving into new areas as a wise move in this economic climate. Antec's approach to this has been the creation of a mobile brand which includes chargers and audio devices. One such device is the a.m.p. SP1, a compact Bluetooth speaker and speakerphone and it is the focus of our review today.

The Kraken Pro Analog Gaming Headset was a product that I received after competing in the annual Tiger Direct PC Race. Only after the event was over and all the hoopla from CES calmed down did we decide that the Kraken Pro was one of the products we received that we legitimately wanted to review. Razer has a history of making wild claims regarding PC products, i.e. The Razer Blade: The World’s First Gaming Laptop or the Razer Edge Pro: The World’s First Gaming Tablet but with the Kraken Pro they are making a claim based on one of the most subjective topics in product reviews…comfort. The Kraken Pro has a lot to live up to, especially when you make a claim like that, so let’s see how it holds up.

Following on from the RHA CA-200 Noise isolating headphone review last week, Benchmark Reviews is all set to take a look at the higher priced RHA SA950i On-Ear Portable Headphones from Reid Heath Acoustics. The SA950i headphones are designed primarily for Apple iPhone/iPod/iPad users, but will also work just as well on most other modern smartphones. Available in Apple Retail Stores from October 30th 2012 (MSRP $59.95), the RHA website claim the SA950i Headphones feature "technologies more commonly found in full-sized studio equipment, and delivers professional-grade audio in a compact supra-aural design". The SA950i Headphones also feature a 1.5m braided cable with a multi function in-line remote, contour forming ear cups, adjustable chrome sliders, 40mm titanium coated mylar drivers and dynamic neodynium magnets. RHA seem pretty confident about the SA950i Headphones, and we aim to see if they can really deliver...

No one missed the launch of the iPhones, iPads, and iPods last year, but Apple also updated a small but very important part of their product line: their standard in-ear headphones. The standard earbuds that you receive with Apple's products have been overhauled. Better late than never, as the original earbuds were never really popular, and the new EarPods sound a lot better.
