For some earphones are what they occasionally use when they need to and most likely those people are fine with the earphones that come with their device. Others are people who depend on their earphones to take them away from their surroundings or keep them motivated. These are people who are traveling, working out, or are working remotely. They not only want great sound, but also great comfort as well. RHA, a company out of Glasgow, UK has sent us their latest earphones, the MA450i. These earphones feature a solid aluminum design, 10mm Mylar drivers, seven interchangeable ear-tips and a fabric braided cable. The MA450i has also been certified for use with iPhone, iPod and iPad devices so you will be able to make and receive calls.

It’s unfortunate that desktop sound cards are becoming less popular. Many years ago, sound cards with their dedicated audio processors could genuinely benefit gamers and their computers when CPUs were much slower. Nowadays, sound cards are being displaced by such factors as fast CPUs, increasing usage of software audio processing, and improved motherboard audio. Nevertheless, there will always users who demand the benefits sound cards can bring to the table. Audiophiles demand sound quality, home theater PC users can utilize the outputs and connectivity, and gamers can step up their game with accurate positional audio. ASUS has tackled these challenges with its Xonar sound card line-up. Today we’re looking at the two budget Xonar cards, the DGX and the DSX, though ASUS has made an entire range of Xonar solutions...

Sony can pride itself on being the inventor of portable audio devices, and it's still active in this segment. The NWZ-W273 is a Walkman designed for active people, and we tested it for a period while jogging. Not to get too much ahead of ourselves, but we're quite positive about Sony's latest compact and waterproof music player.

Thermaltake are one of the biggest names in the PC market, not only are they well known for their PC chassis design, power supplies and other components, but they also spawned another company known to many at TteSports who have gained a great reputation in recent years for some of the best gaming peripherals on the market, but lesser known here in the UK is there other brand, Luxa2, who make mobile friendly products and audio solutions and I’ve been waiting patiently for quite some time to get hold of a pair to see what they have to offer.
“LUXA2, a Division of Thermaltake, was created in 2009, with characteristics of simplicity, luxury, and unique lifestyle. The core design theory of LUXA2 starts from simple shapes blending with luxury elements, which create the unique lifestyle for different segments within the society such as Creative Pro, Mobile Blogger, Leisure Seeker, Hip Newbie, Entertainment Junkie, and Apple’s Mac Lovers.” – LUXA2
When it comes to mobile products, appearance is vital and many people care just as much about how they look while wearing headphones as they do about their headphones sound, which is in my opinion a silly way of doing as I’ll always pick audio quality over style, but that’s just me.
“LUXA2 represent an emerging trend of “individuality” in the world. Not only do people need function, but they also need aesthetic appeal. This is what LUXA2 has achieved. Exquisite craftsmanship with aesthetic and elegant design style is a promise and commitment from LUXA2. Thus, the Simplicity, Luxury and Lifestyle of LUXA2 creates a Uniquely You.” – LUXA2
LUXA2 are playing to a tough crowd, from their own worlds we know they’re targeting the hipster, Apple loving, trendy and self proclaimed cool people of society, a scene of which you could say contains people who are often picky about the products they’ll use, let alone be seen using.

Currently in the market there are countless headset models available from a large number of manufacturers and in several different configurations from plain stereo ones and virtual surround ones (again based on dual drivers) all the way up to real 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound ones that feature up to 8 drivers (4 in each earcup) for the best possible positioning audio both in movies and games. Of course much like most things (especially electronic devices) each model type has a different focus group/audience and so although stereo ones are extremely popular amongst audiophiles, DJ's and professionals in general virtual and real surround sound ones are mostly welcomed by casual and hardcore gamers around the world. However there are also stereo gaming headsets our there for people who belong to neither one of the mentioned groups and just want a cost-effective headset to casually play games and listen to music a job which just might be the right one for the ONDA ST stereo gaming headset by OZONE.

Just like everyone else out there over the course of my life there have been quite a few occasions when I’ve been out looking to get a set of earphones but had to compromise either in terms of quality or clarity due to a limited budget. For good or bad i am a strong believer that almost always you get what you pay for (obviously excluding the times you pay way too much for a brand name) and that's especially on the spot when we are talking about audio and video related devices such as headsets, graphics cards, LCD screens and more. However there have been a few very rare occasions when I’ve come across cost-effective products that manage to go head to head with others that are many times more expensive and promise everything you’d ever want. This is exactly what happened with the brand new Oxygen In-Ear ProGaming Headset by OZONE which has been keeping us company for nearly two weeks now.

The flavor of multiplayer games over the years has changed, but team communication has remained a staple. Though the big days of cooperative multiplayer online games such as World of Warcraft are decaying out of age, a surge of competitive multiplayer games has driven a continued need for gaming headsets. SteelSeries has been keen to push its name within the competitive gaming scene and has become a highly recognizable brand as a result. On the 5Hv3 box, SteelSeries proudly associates itself with four accomplished esport organizations: Na’Vi, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Tyloo, and Fnatic.
