SteelSeries has been busy introducing a few different products including a full rework of their H series of headsets, the new Siberia Elite, and even a new mouse. To start off our coverage I wanted to check out the new H series headsets, but with the size of my head I was limited to the new 9H that is larger than the 7H that we took a look at it years ago. With a new look, new drivers, and a new size I couldn’t wait to put my Siberia v2’s aside and try them out.

It makes me very happy today to have another Wavemaster product back in the office and after the big success that we had testing their Mx3+, Moody and Moby products, I have high hopes of seeing similarly high performance for a low cost from the products were looking at today.
On the test bench are the Wavemaster Dakota headphones, I have two pairs to play around with but other than colour they're technically the same headset, one is black, the other is white and with a price of around £25 they're set to be affordable audio products aimed at the general consumer audio market, where you expect them to be significantly better than the junk you find bundled with a lot of audio products but also significantly cheaper than enthusiast grade hardware. Of course at this price range, I'm not going to be expecting the most earth shattering performance from these headphones, but £25 is still a tidy investment for headphones and I'll still expect to see good build quality, decent audio performance and some style, anything else will be a welcome bonus in working out the value for money on this set.
Wavemaster has not long launched here in the UK, but they've already proven them selves to be one of the most popular audio brands in Germany and that trend seems to be continuing here in the UK as places like Overclockers.co.uk have started to stock and promote their products.

I've had something a little different to play around with this week and as much as I love sitting indoors and playing with new gadgets, it's always great when you get something that allow your to break away from your desk and get out into the sun.

GX Gaming, which is the gaming peripheral division of Genius, continues to make a serious push to be more than merely relevant in the industry. They have developed some great gaming mice, keyboards, headsets and speaker systems and they clearly have no plans of slowing down. Benchmark Reviews recently had a chance to take a closer look at one of the latest products to come from Genius, the GX Gaming SW-G2.1 2000 Gaming Speaker System. Considering the long-term success of the Genius brand and from what we’ve seen from GX Gaming so far, it is a safe bet to say that this system, at the very least, will not be a disappointment.

Xigmatek continues the new trend of 'heatpipe stacking' with its latest heatsink, the SD128264 Aegir. The Aegir is an exposed heatpipe base tower heatsink made to accommodate one or two 120mm fans. A single 120mm 2200-1000RPM PWM fan is supplied with it, and judging by the excellent thermal test results there's really no need for a second... unless you're planning on operating both fans at the slowest possible speeds

Today we take a look at the latest product from TteSports, the Console One headset which is effectively a multi-format edition of their popular Shock One gaming headset for PC. Console gaming is big business and it is understandable that the company would want to get a bigger share of this market given their dedicated support for all things pro gaming and eSports related.
Priced at a little under £50 the Console One is a budget friendly solution, especially for a multi format headset which often start around £70 for something featuring a well-known brand name, so it will be interesting to see just what TteSports have to offer for this kind of money. TteSports have proven themselves time and time again to us here at eTeknix, not necessarily for their performance, but for their value for money and while they do make some incredible premium products, their special power seems to be offering consumers some of the best budget friendly solutions in the industry, especially when it comes to gaming mice and that is something I am hoping to see here today with their headset.
With support for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the Console One is great for those who own multiple gaming devices and it is not ideal for someone to buy three different headsets, especially if they’re on a tighter budget. So lets take a look at what TteSports have to offer and put the Console One to the test.
