With the introduction of the laptop, the mobile office was created. You could take your show on the road and get some serious work done. Of course, you still had some limitations. Even today you have limitations; unless you want to carry around a laptop that weighs 10-15 pounds you are stuck with a small screen size.

PC displays have evolved from bulky CRT to superslim LED-backlit LCD units, but the resolution hasn't really improved over the years - in fact, with the monitor aspect ratio shenanigans by the panel vendors pushing 16:9 movie screens to everyone just to save a few cents, it, and the associated productivity, has effectively decreased. Will user's complaints and developments like iPad 3 2048x1536 4:3 screen change the situation?

The NEC EX231W-BK is compact at only 14.6mm and weights under 10 lbs with the base attached. With such a slim design the NEC EX231W-BK looks great on the desk but makes no compromises when it comes to providing adjustable features like tilt, pivot, swivel and height adjustment.

Recently NVIDIA made the biggest change to their 3D Vision ecosystem, probably since launch, with the release of 3D Vision 2. A combination of the latest range of 3D displays with updated hardware and advances made in the driver enhance the experience.
Displays
NVIDIA just announced 3D Vision 2 at GeForce LAN 6! NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 is the next generation of the compaines 3D technology, features sleek, newly-redesigned, gamer-inspired glasses. It also introduces NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology, a unique new display technology that improves the 3D experience by delivering images that are up to twice as bright and colors that are far richer than those provided by other 3D display technologies.
Displays
The NVIDIA 3D Vision gaming solution has certainly matured since we first looked at it back in 2009. Since it was originally released the price has come down nearly 45% and the current 3D monitors offer full HD resolutions and the ability to play 3D Blu-ray movies without any DRM issues. Read on to see what NVIDIA has been doing with 3D gaming over the past couple of years!

You can be forgiven if you haven't heard of the name OHKI before, with the company only just appearing recently. We're here today to tell you whether or not this is a company you should be keeping an eye out for. With an online only structure to the business, the idea is that they're able to cut out any middleman and in turn offer you the best deal possible. Currently the company is only selling one product and that's the 42" LED TV we're looking at today.

Earlier in the year we had a chance to have a look at the LED 42" TV from OHKI and it did a good job at impressing us. It managed to put a tick in the right boxes when it came to people who wanted a TV that could offer us a good quality picture in a slim LED Lit format at a really good price.

Panasonic are now onto their third generation of 3D active shutter glasses (model number TY-EW3D3MU). Although Panasonic Australia cannot confirm a local release date, I've picked up a few pairs whilst overseas and am keen to see how they stack up against the first and second generation pairs. Panasonic's first generation glasses (TY-EW3D10U) were memorable for the design faux pas of massive open sections at the sides which let light shine through. Anyone that's viewed 3D content will be aware that the darker the environment, the better, so whoever decided that this would be a great design choice should have been challenged.
