This is an article I've wanted to do for a while now and as this month started, I told myself it was time to get it done as my testbeds here are making some changes. I've been tossing up if I should make the move to Z68 for our VGA reviews, or stick with the tried and trusted X58 platform. Most people will feel that it's a no brainer with the X58 being the better option due to the fact it natively supports x16 / x16 in dual card setups. For us, that's indeed the biggest draw for the platform; the Z68 one on the other hand has a lot of standout features that make it a better option as well.

Today we are going to look at the YOYOTech Warbird SB2500-460 which, as its name suggests, contains Intels Core i5 2500 chip, in the unlocked ‘k’ form, alongside a GTX460 graphics card. Despite not having water cooling like the XDNA, YOYOTech have still achieved an impressive overclock on this system, at 4.6GHz.

As the cellular phone has continued to improve its feature offerings, so too have companies attempted to find a home for that product within the connected home theater. Over the years we have seen universal remotes, video docking stations and a number of other devices which aim to capitalize on the popularity of those mobile devices. XtremeMac sure is hoping you are one of these and have the InCharge Home BT (Bluetooth) device which aims to connect your iPhone to your stereo via Bluetooth. Sounds simple enough.

One of the things i really like about the electronics industry is that no matter how many manufacturers there are at this exact moment in time there will always be more around each day that goes by and so although I’ve been testing hardware (standalone) media players for the past 5 years (or so) i have yet to cooperate with all of them something which some of you keep reminding me from time to time (as you should). Xtreamer may not be the most famous hardware media player manufacturer (A.C.Ryan is and unfortunately they are not doing well so that means little nowadays) but they've been around almost from the very beginning (i think they were established in late 2008/ early 2009) and they are known to manufacture cost-effective yet feature-rich solutions. So since their latest media player & streamer is called the Prodigy Black and has been around for over a year we thought it was about time that we took it out for a test drive.

Portable power banks (or battery packs as i like to call them) may have been around for quite some time now but it seems that many people i know of don't seem to care much about carrying such a gadget with them at all times. Luckily the growing number of companies that have as their sole job to design and manufacture portable battery packs and the infinite number of models currently available in the market mean that the same doesn't apply for most people and so such devices just might be amongst the top hottest things in the market currently. From the moment NikKTech came online we have used and reviewed quite a few such devices some of which yielded exemplary results while others unfortunately didn't even make it to our pages due to hardware errors. XTPower is behind some of the best models currently out in the market including the massive MP-23000A (although now they released the MP-32000A) which we reviewed a while back but since it was obviously too much for most people we just had to check their more "mainstream" models the first of which is the XT-10000ADF Portable Battery.

One of the biggest limiting factors in what you can do with watercooling is how much room you have in your case. With so much equipment to pack in for watercooling alone, space ends up being one of the chief concerns for builders and modders. And the single biggest limiting factor: how much radiator one can fit. Radiators are large, bulky, and inflexible in how they need to be installed. This can easily lead to the builder having to sacrifice cooling surface for space. There is a solution to this problem though; external radiator stands. And if you have chosen to use XSPC’s AX series of radiators, then you’re in luck. Today we will be looking at the AX Radiator Desk Stand from XSPC

Have you ever wished you could use the same headphones or earbuds for everything like your PC, MP3 player and gaming console? I don’t know about you but I find it annoying that we have to buy separate headsets for everything we have. A little company called Xjacker feels the same way I do and they’ve sent me over the Soniq Rush 2.0 Gaming Amplifier Kit for the Xbox 360. This product allows you to use virtually any headphones or earbuds with your Xbox 360 so you won’t need to buy a separate set just for your Xbox. This kit is also an amplifier like the name says and it allows you to adjust the volume and bass in your game right on the amplifier. So read on to learn more…

Electronic video games became a trillion dollar industry once they made the leap from quarter-gobbling cabinets to console and later PC. Home entertainment turned into a business dominated by the desktop PC platform for decades, but once seventh-generation Sony PlayStation and Microsoft XBOX gaming consoles debuted the market share quickly dimenished. Now many years later, modern mobile devices such as SmartPhones and UltraBooks are poised to grab the market away from what little remains of the competition. As fate would have it, PC gaming could be revived as a direct result of updated gaming console platforms such as the XBOX 720 and PlayStation 4.

Do Microsoft XBox 360 consoles scratch discs? Some of our readers say yes, Microsoft themselves say no. Who to believe? Well, KitGuru’s favourite expression is ‘follow the money’. If there’s a problem, then you will find a business. So we did. And we did.
