In time for Computex, Cooler Master announced two new cases that the company demoed back at CeBIT, alongside a few new CM Strom products which included a new headset and a new mouse. The company was also showing off a new CM Storm chassis, some new 80 Plus Platinum PSUs and a new CPU cooler, plus a few secrets that we can’t really tell you about, yet.
Sometimes in the technology industry there can be a real gap between what a product offers and what consumers need... or that until a consumer experiences something it seems like an unnecessary expense, or not worthwhile. Something which it would seem very much falls into one or both of those categories is multi-display gaming, either AMD Eyefinity or NVIDIA Surround.
AMD has joined forces with HeavenMedia for a European tour, mainly targeting the gamers audience. AMD's FX Bulldozer CPU's have been labeled as too slow in many hardware reviews. Even tough the new Bulldozer architecture looked initially very promising on paper, the performance was heavily dependent on the application being used. Sometimes performing mediocre, even slower than the previous generation Thuban processors. However sometimes beating similar priced Intel CPU's. On top of that, the infamous 8 core marketing strategy error, set some real bad blood. As performance in many multi-threaded applications was unexpectedly low. To be honest, these Bulldozer CPU's were not really worthy to be named after the world famous FX series. But AMD fought back with some insane CPU-Z suicide runs and this GamExperience tour is very welcome to warm up the gamers again for the AMD hardware lineup.
I’m back with a brief review for you of a small product that allows you to wirelessly steam audio from most any Bluetooth enabled device. The product is called the SoundWave SW50 Speaker Phone and yes it also can be used with your phone as a speakerphone. The SW50 is very simple to use and it features a rechargeable battery, but the most important part is that it produces decent sound.

LG is not exactly a household name in the world of computer mice, but the LG LSM-100 Mouse Scanner does right away add an innovative feature to the traditional mouse recipe. You are able to scan documents with the bottom of this mouse while you’re sitting at your desk. It also is a great mouse, with responsive buttons and scroll wheel.
Do you need to protect your phone but can’t a good case? Are you using an extended battery and can’t use a case but still need protection? Then you at least need a good screen protector.
The new N750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router from TP-LINK is feature rich, provides decent speeds in wireless environment and comes at a very affordable price. The GUI which can be accessed via the browser is not as attractive as the competition and most of the modifications in a page require a router system reboot.
Speed isn't everything of course. A monitor still needs to have decent colour rendering and be reasonably priced. The BenQ XL2420T is far from cheap, but you can adjust the height, rotate it, and it comes with many connectors and an integrated USB hub. In terms of response times, it scores the best. It has a 120 Hz refresh rate, and the other test results are also very good.
