All Nintendo products come with a one-year warranty, and that means that if you’re an early adopter of the 3DS then you might want to think about getting some of those weird problems fixed before it is too late.

There are some products that we receive that just put a smile on our face. These are usually something new like the very latest overclocked graphics card or something that is a bit different and we just can’t wait to get testing.

Why is My Computer So Slow? The answer is simple. . . you use it. To be brutally honest a computer requires maintenance just like a car or any other appliance that is used frequently and sometimes more so. If your computer is used by multiple people then this becomes especially true. Programs and garbage accumulate and will eventually slow even the fastest computer down to a crawl. In 90% of PC's the culprit lies with malware and useless programs running behind the scenes. Just because you are not using a program doesn't mean it is not running and taking up valuable CPU time and memory resources.

Out of the three EnGenius routers, the compact ESR-300H made the best impression on us. If you have no use for a router that supports 5 GHz, like if you don't own any devices that are compatible with that frequency, then it's a worthy option. However, its average price of £60 is eerily close to that of a number of quite good dual-band routers from other brands, for example the Edimax BR-6675nD. The VPN server on the ESR-300H could have put that model on top, were it not for the slow 100 Mbit ports.

After using it for the past month I amazed how I ever got along without it. CultureCode sells two versions, one for OS X and another for the iPhone, but to gain maximum productivity the pair should be used in conjunction. Before Things I relied on the folded piece of paper checklist method of managing tasks. Of course there were times I forgot the paper or didn’t have it accessible to add a momentary fleeting thought to my growing list. Of course, God forbid I lost that list!

Today I’ll be looking at the iPad app iteration of Things. This version is designed to take advantage of the iPad’s strengths such as larger screen real estate and capacitive interaction. Its user interface is very reminiscent to the OS X version. Things for iPad can be used in isolation or in conjunction with the Mac version. Personally, I think using Things with both the iPad and Mac provides the best user experience.
