DESCRIPTION: The idea of being able to take your content wherever you go is one that has taken off since the launch of Slingbox--which supports connecting your set top box to their specific device, and then being able to control and stream that signal to your computer (or phone or Boxee Box) from anywhere in the world. Monsoon Multimedia is aiming to provide some competition to that space with their introduction of the Vulkano line of products which offers the same core functionality of watching your TV from any location, along with some more advanced features. The Vulkano Flow is Monsoon Multimedia’s base-line offering, which provides the same specifications as the others except with less storage.

We’re PC enthusiasts. We buy bigger graphics cards to improve our gaming, better audio cards to improve our immersion, and feature-richier gaming peripherals to improve our skill. Is it so unreasonable, then, to purchase an Ethernet card that promises to deliver the best-possible net experience for gamers? It’s an oft-debated topic, and one that doesn’t have a clear conclusion.

Some say desktop computers are fading into a thing of the past, personally I prefer them over a laptop or tablet any day of the week. Laptops and tablets certainly have their place in today’s on-the-go lifestyle we lead. In fact I’m typing this while sitting in a hotel room on a business trip on my laptop. Obviously there are some advantages to them, but desktop systems are my preferred system any day of the week. Dollar for dollar desktop systems offer more bang for the buck than a laptop, but laptops offer portability though you sacrifice performance. If you haven’t guessed already, today we are looking at a full blown desktop system from Alienware, the X51 R2. The Alienware X51 desktop starts at only $699 but the sky is the limit as the X51 is fully customizable. Read on to see how it performs.

You don't have to spend an arm and a leg for a good racing wheel. Compared to the top-of-the-line deluxe racing wheels, you sacrifice a little precision and build quality, but the quality of the steering wheel itself is mostly left intact. Instead of metal, more plastic is typically used. The pedals of the Thrustmaster F430 and Logitech Driving Force GT we tested for this review are more than good enough for the average gamer. Both work great for driving, they're very accurate and the quality of the force feedback is good. Logitech's wheel is slightly more expensive but has the better force feedback, while the Thrustmaster F430 has superior pedals. If you don't want to spend as much, the 458 Italia from Thrustmaster is a very good racing wheel. You don't get force feedback, however, and the pedals aren't as nice, but for the money it's a good product. If you want to go even cheaper, the Speedlink Drift O.Z. is an option. However, you get what you pay for, and you will enjoy your favorite racing game a lot more if you at least get the 458 Italia from Thrustmaster.

If you are testing motherboards, video cards or power supplies it is extremely annoying to keep on installing and removing them in cases. That is why test benches and hardware workbenches were created. Today we are taking a look at one such product from HighSpeed PC. It is their Top Deck Tech Station. This computer workbench supports mITX, mATX, ATX, eATX, and XL-ATX motherboards, has 4-Way SLI support with 10 expansion slots, and even has support for 2.5-inch hard drives! Of course it easily allows you to change out components and gives you full access to your motherboard and video cards. Read on to see if this is the perfect test bench for us!

Genius is a fairly new company in North America where peripherals and computer hardware are concerned, but they have quickly turned heads by creating very unique products. From mobile Bluetooth scanners to arcade sticks, their repertoire of ideas is impressive. One such example is the Ring Style Wireless Presenter. Genius has a plethora of different ring-styled mice, but this is the first circular model that is designed around their laser pointer series, which from Genius (and others) have traditionally been bulky.
