Today for review I’ve got a product that will allow you to quickly and easily add another line of defense to your network against attacks, it’s called the Lan-Guard and it’s from Addlogix. It’s a small box with two ethernet ports on it, one for input and one for output that goes between your modem and router, once installed it protects your network from web based attacks, viruses, spyware and most any other type of attack. The price of the Lan-Guard also includes three years of updates for definition and firmware updates etc. It’s very simple to install for the most part. it will work on any network, but you might need to make some adjustments. in my time with it I found it seems to work, but I ran into an issue or two with it.. so Read on..
The DashDrive AE400 is a pretty ingenius little product. The AE400 is very easy to use, and is a practical way of transferring photos and other files from an SD card and USB storage device to iOS, Android and Windows tablets and smartphones. It's a great solution for devices without a USB host port or SD card slot.
Powerline networking has a reputation for promising capable “hardwired” networking solutions, but historically often fell short when it came to delivery. The ACTi D32 was a positive surprise. The camera is sturdy, water and dust proof, with extensive yet well-organized software features. Most importantly, the video quality is excellent, especially in daylight the picture is very sharp. At night the D32 is also effective with its built-in IR LED, even if we have tested cameras that were even better in the dark. The D32 is nevertheless one of the best cameras in this area that we've tested.
