People have always liked to take impressive risks in order to feel alive and just by looking at some of the most popular extreme sports like parachuting (plane jumping), skiing, snowboarding, Cyaking, deep diving and surfing that's not really hard to figure out. However why do something so extreme if you can't keep a visual record of it not only as proof that you actually did it but also to help you improve. Up until a few years ago there was simply no easy way for people to record video while taking part in outdoor activities something which changed with the arrival of tiny cameras that could be easily mounted pretty much everywhere. We are of course talking about Action Cameras and today we will be checking out the brand new S-50 Wi-Fi Nitro Circus Live Limited Edition model by Rollei.

Three years ago while i was driving on the far right lane of the interstate a car with half erased license plates pulled up from the center lane and onto the far right side of the road and although i managed to avoid hitting him dead on i couldn't control the rear end of my car so the rear right wing ended up getting severely damaged. Unfortunately by the time i pulled over and got out of my car the guy had already gotten into his car and left and although i did try to chase him i lost him in traffic. So i ended up having to pay for the damage from my own pocket (actually my insurance covered 70% and that's pretty much the only good thing about all this). Looking back i now know that this entire incident could had been avoided had i used an dash camera like i do now since i would have recorded the car and the visible part of its license plate. Today’s review is about one such product and more specifically the latest P2Pro Drive Recorder by PAPAGO.

Verbatim is at it again with a new line of recordable media. This time, we get a variety of colors in the form of the image-etching tool known as LightScribe. Originally they came only in the color "Gold". I guess it wouldn't be as flashy to call it "Vomit Yellow", and now they have one-upped themselves by bringing us four new brilliant colors to make our burned media look that much more vibrant. Now you can have any color of the rainbow you want, as long as you only want Green, Blue, Red, Orange, and Yellow. Here's some more info on it before I commence the burning.

From all the stuff I and Cássio saw during CES 2009 probably the craziest one was a series of retro-looking phone handsets for your cell phone, from a company called YUBZ (pronounced "why you busy". They are available in two versions: wired or wireless, using Bluetooth technology. Now imagine you walking down the street, your phone ringing and you picking up a red phone receiver like the "hot line" between Batman and Commissioner Gordon on the 1960's TV show. Definitely a terrific ice-breaker, especially when you go partying.

It is now our great pleasure to introduce our first review ever of a digital compact camera, kindly delivered by Nikon. As of late, we have had a compact camera from Nikon firmly mounted on the test bench - more precisely the Nikon Coolpix S550. Nikon proudly refers to it as the slimmest device in its category (10 MP og 5x zoom), thus it will be interesting to see how it performs
