Overall, I like the Viewsonic VA2323wm 23" widescreen LCD monitor very much. The picture quality is excellent and this refurbished model is in such great condition that it could pass for new. The 23" screen was an upgrade from my precious 20" monitor, and while it may sound silly to say, that extra 3" really does make a difference.

Looking after the new Quick Review section has become such a pleasure because it's given me a chance to Insta-Yes to just about any item a company asks us to review. Being a projector man myself, when word that the ViewSonic PJD6251 was making its way over with 3D support I became excited. Once the projector had arrived and it was setup, I became a bit deflated. It's no fault of ViewSonics and we'll discuss it more in just a moment. For now let's look at the package.

It’s no longer necessary for an optical disc player to be the focal point of a home theater setup. Set-top media boxes, designed to play video and audio files either from a USB-connected hard drive or streamed across your home network are abound from such manufacturers as Western Digital, Apple, and D-Link. ViewSonic has debuted their NexTV VMP75 player, which boasts full network capability (wireless support comes via a USB dongle upgrade), Netflix streaming, loads of compatible formats, and even an eSata connector (a rarity in this USB dominated world). As sexy as that may sound, all those bullet points aren’t very compelling if it won’t play your media, so let’s power up the ViewSonic player and see what we can throw at it.

Video games: They can be so beautiful to look at, lovely to listen to, and the best of them can take you on narrative journeys that can sometimes rival the best examples of cinema, theater, and literature have to offer. Which begs the question: Can video games be considered a legitimate form of art? Read along as Benchmark Reviews examines the question in-depth.

There are several types of video connections that you can find on PC and consumer electronics ("CE" products such as TVs, DVD/Blu-Ray players, video game consoles, cable TV receptors ("set-top boxes", and video projectors. Since you probably want to get the best video quality from your equipment, we've written this tutorial to explain the differences between each kind of connection and when to use each of them, with many tips on how to improve the video quality generated by your equipment.

Both my wife and I have been putting our Nexus 7’s to a lot of use for a few years now. They have been used for reading, gaming, redditing, facebooking, finding dinner while traveling, as a GPS, countless other things, and most importantly they have both been used to end debates about who is right or wrong almost daily. Of all of the devices that we have they rarely get left behind when traveling or when we are out and about. We opted to wait when we saw the Nexus 7 2013 simply because replacing both devices can add up a little when you add in new cases, screen covers, ect. Just before heading out for our vacation this summer Verizon Wireless offered to send a new 2013 Nexus 7 with LTE over for us to toy with. Today I will talk a little about how it compares to our older Nexus 7 and how well it worked out while on vacation.
