Sitting at the top of the WD TV line-up is the Live Hub and that's the one we're looking at today. Checking out the box, you can see the device and some of the main features. One of the bigger features is the 1TB hard drive that's embedded into the WD TV Live Hub. On the front of the box we can also see some of the other main features which include support with Blockbuster, Netflix, Pandora, Facebook and YouTube. Unfortunately not all these features are available outside of the US, but the ones that are like YouTube and Facebook work great. We'll get into all that a little later, though.

The WD TV Live Plus has some great features over the original Netflix only players. While the Roku maybe well known for its Netflix streaming support, the WD TV Live Plus has Netflix and more. Combine tons of internet content with support for your internal network content and you've got a product ready to be at the center of your media needs.

I’ve been looking at quite a few different media players recently and contemporary ones are all quite similar. Around 8 inches across, internal hard drive of varying size and internet connectivity.
Today I’m looking at one that’s a little different though. It’s compact, missing a few traditional connectors but manages to include built in wireless connectivity. There’s no internal storage to speak of, but the applications and games available make this one of the – on paper – most fully featured HTPC replacements out there.
