XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a revival of the classic PC strategy franchise. Many fans of the original title have been waiting a long time for another installment. Many would say that last year with the release of Yakuza 3 SEGA had a misstep. Having decided to remove much of what makes the series unique, SEGA recorded a backlash almost like no other from gamers and sales dwindled as a result. SEGA got the message that western gamers were not going to put up with a game that was half the original and pay full price, and that lesson has been learned.
