However, it was not without its problems. Many people did not like the floaty platforming plus the tools really only allowed platform style games and sequences to be made. Media Molecule went back to the drawing board and came up with LittleBigPlanet 2; a game that not only continues the style of the first game well, but adds so many options and tools that it is potentially the first truly 'must try' game of 2011.

Far Cry 3 is pretty much sweeping everyone's "Game of the Year" awards. While the game is really solid in many areas, there are some glaring issues that reviewers should consider before handing out their coveted award badges.

Syndicate is a re-imagination of the video game of the same name that was released in 1993 and followed up in 1996 by Syndicate Wars. The original games were published by Electronic Arts and developed by Bullfrog whereas the re-imagined version is developed by Starbreeze Studios and published by Electronic Arts. This new take on a classic game stays quiet faithful to the general theme of a cyber punk dystopia but switches the game perspective creating a first person shooter.
Like all the previous Hitman games in the series, there are multiple ways to reach your objective, and many optional extras. You can play the game as an action shooter and always have guns blazing, or you can go completely silent and try to do everything unnoticed.
Predictably, Killzone 3 applies the same tried-and-tested formula as its predecessor and in a similar vein to the Call of Duty series offers a rigidly scripted experience. As such, trial and error often prevails over strategy as we fight through situations by learning from the robotic behaviour of the Helghast soldiers. When we die and respawn, or during another play through, enemies behave in exactly the same way as before, taking up the same cover spots and running down the same flights of steps with little variation to their tactics.
