Starhawk is the follow-up to a PS One title, Warhawk (and its subsequent PS3 remake). In the original game we played part in a war between the Eucadian and Chernovan armies. Now in the follow up we take the role of Emmet Graves a bounty hunter and gunslinger of sorts who has been hired to help protect a planet and its resources from The Scabs, a group of various alien races who have been gathered together by The Outlaw.
Capcom are back with the launch of Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor and rather than develop, or re-use a custom controller they are basing this game on the Xbox 360 Kinect functionality. Fighting game fans who only own a PC have a shortage of good titles available so the release of Street Fighter IV on this platform is big news. Up until recent times Mario had been significantly split into 2D and 3D style games. If you were on the handheld systems, a 2D experience awaited, whilst on the big boy consoles you got the 3D worlds with a focus on exploration and not rushing through the levels. Nintendo has tried to combine the best of both worlds so to speak with the 3DS Mario game and succeeds in so many ways. Super Mario 3D Land is one of the best Mario games ever made and is everything the evolution that Nintendo has made it out to be. This game finally shows why 3D on a handheld system can matter.
