Call Of Juarez was released 2 years ago by Ubisoft and it was a game set in the Wild West that dealt with a mission for revenge as well as the hunt for a cursed treasure. Reverend Ray was a fantastic character, a fanatical preacher who quoted from the bible while shooting people in the face. COJ 2 focuses on the history of Reverend Ray, his family and their quest for gold.
Call Of Juarez was released a few years ago and was quite the success in the gaming community. As a wild west style FPS with an impressive engine it was used in many cases as a benchmarking utility for new graphics cards at the time. The follow up Bound In Blood is due for release this year and again has the same two character mechanic. We recently spent some time with a few of the levels which we found out is actually a prequel to the first title.

Does a change of venue make it a unique game? I don’t know, there've been other Pacific Theater games, although the stuff on the Ost Front are a little slim--multiplayer-only held against it, Red Orchestra is one of the coolest WWII shooters I've ever had the pleasure of getting smacked with--but c'mon, it's WWII. If the Second World War was a genre, it'd probably be real-time strategy. Everyone's had a tour.

Call Of Duty, what is there left to say that hasn’t already been said? One of the most successful franchises in game history, making hundreds of millions in revenue with every release. The big question needs answered however, is MW3 just more rehashing of the series or does it deliver good value for money?

And this time, the talk on launch day isn't about shafted PC players, or scenes of unnecessary violence, or even Call of Duty's domination as the biggest entertainment launch ever.
